When are we ever going to be a serious nation?
Uptil now we are still spending so much of our money in importation. When are we going to start producing our own items like electronics, house own utensils etc. Im just sick and tired of this poverty infested country. Members of the international country don't take us serious any longer and it is very unfortunate. We have been stagnanted for over 50years now isn't obvious that we have been doing the wrong thing and expecting to get another result. For over 50yrs of suffering look how we are living now everything turned upside down. We have a government yet we lack
electricity
Security
Infrastructure
Jobs
Good education
Healthcare
Housing
Portable drinking water

So now, what is government now doing for the masses? It is even better we continue to live like the animals that we are than to have a government that is not responsive. So many Nigerian youths don't know their right from their center, they still have not come to terms that we lack so many things in this country. It is our right to have constant Electricity and portable drinking water. It is our right for government to secure lives and property and not a privilege as most youth may have it. I have told those that cared to listen that this country is sitting on a gun power and will go into flames, what bokoharam is doing might be childs play compared to what may happen in the nearest future. Very few people like my very self are beginning to be aware of this dangerous infractions. For how how long are we going to continue like this? We have been praying for the past 50years isn't it obvious that prayer isn't the solution right now? We need action to bring about the much needed change and not this APC change that is filled with lies and hatred.

The real disappointment is over dependent on government. Make your practical contribution no matter how small it is. That's a way to move forward gradually.

Features like this are not general features every user want...
Foldable phones are cool in a music video or as a celebrity..

Samsung used to be No 1 mobile phone manufacturer in the world..
Later they drop to No2.
Now!
Apple's NO1 to 5 ....
Samsung is not even rocking no 6 position well...
I'm not sure this new product can shoot them back to 2..... Anyway wetin I know...I'm just an average Nairaland who believes his view is a general view around the world.
yep u don't know anything ...........samsung is rocking number 1 globally, Huawei number 2, apple number 3, .......... Samsung only dropped down in the indian market where the likes of xiaomi and one plus has taken over

You don't get it. It's a weakness to depend on government to solve all issues. Those great nations don't depend on government to provide them everything. They act.

There will always be customers.....

Yes, there will always be customers; but that is not the issues.

The bigger question is, if the number of customers aka unit sold/revenue generated is enough to beat their revenue and EPS estimates, if not they will be in serious problem.

Apple learnt is bitterly recently with their launch of their new iPhone product line....before the launch Apple was a $1T company, post launch and their earnings reports, despite the fact that they beat on revenue, because there was sluggishness in number of units sold, the company valuation took a hit, making them to lose about $200b in just few weeks.

Go and do your research again. Samsung is number 1 followed by Huawei and then Apple.
