Can Tinubu Handle The Next Level Of Humiliation? by mekaboy(m): 10:36pm On Nov 26, 2018
We all know how hard Tinubu worked to bring APC into power, however APC did not show him the required gratitude. According to his wife, her husband was treated badly.

https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/259450-husband-treated-poorly-helping-apc-win-2015-elections-remi-tinubu.html

Now they have come up with the Next Level for 2019 campaign. If they treated Tinubu like this in the first tenure, knowing they will need a second tenure, how will they treat him after they win and Buhari has nothing to loose?

Will they be taking the humiliation to the Next Level?

Well Tinubu is a smart Businessman and does not want Lagos to slip from his hands or repeat the mistake he made with Fashola. He does not want to be trading on one side and the governor will be on the other side.

He wanted to remove fashola during his second term, but Fashola already built his own structure. He then tried to cut down fashola's access at the federal level. Unfortunately, he was already late. Fashola and Amechi had gone directly and invested in Buharis campaign, so there was no way fashola won't get a return on his investment.

He does not want to take such chances with Ambode, hence the need to bring in a freshman with fresh loyalty, before 2019.

So that if after his calculations, he decides to sell to Atiku, the federal level won't use Ambode against him.

So you might see Tinubus body with APC, but you never can tell where his mind is.

Let's keep our fingers crossed. This is payback time for him.

The North knows that, that's why they put the travel ban . To let him know that if he tries to betray, he will join the list .

But as time goes on, you will see things unveil that have his signature on it.

This is the final game.

This op always open thread with Tinubu as his topic daily.
U people said he is not powerful, that you are not afraid of him yet u are using different means to court him to your side.
Did Tinubu tell you he's unaware of everything he went through? Did he complain? Did he ask for your help?

I see most of you coming here to shout Yorubas should stay away from the issues of your region, yet u people will open threads just because of them and their political leader.

I can smell fear from this op, he's afraid of the influence of Tinubu in the coming elections and he knows it is a disadvantage for Atiku, though I don't like Buhari.

Watch out, he will still be in APC till the elections are over. But u will hear and see his contribution materialize when they results come.

lol, believe me when i say those calculations would be harmful to atiku, tinubu actually knows how to play the political chess, I laugh at people who think the guy is been humiliated.

Someone has his protege as APC chairman,

can now even get Lagos govership unopposed for the first time,

he has his party across the west for the first time.

He is about adding kwara to the western structure for the first time.

Has a big northern political bridge courtesy of pmb.

Finally his protege would have a big chance at presidency 2023, he only just has to bid the time of buhari out

@OP.

Bro, you are obsessed with Tinubu and clever folks will know that constantly talking about someone, whether negatively or positively, means you are infatuated with that person.

Buhari respects Tinubu enormously and has given him a lot of concessions but they can't work too closely because PMB is more an outright and very cautious socialist whereas Tinubu, at best, is socio-capitalist unafraid to risk money on big PPP projects like Eko Atlantic et al.

Buhari is not a traditional politician versed in every aspect of the game whereas Tinubu is. From checkmating the rigging of the PDP and going to Court in the OBJ days or fighting thuggery with thuggery, Tinubu is ready to do it. Tinubu is the consummate politician and PMB may be wary of him but not for the reasons you adduce. He did not snub Tinubu but kept him at a distance because of jarring styles.

Nothing wrong with that because Tinubu does not need to be part of the inner circle of PMB to get what he wants. He only needs to always work for and support PMB and the principled general would return the goodwill. Has Buhari not been good to the SW? Is that not what matters to Tinubu the most in the end? Just watch as Tinubu gets more concessions from PMB in 2019 when people like you say he will be used and dumped.

You don't understand that Buhari is a man of his words who believes in paying his debt to others. He has reached out to Tinubu and the Lagos politician is working hard for Buhari to sweep the SW and even outside the region as we saw in Kwara.

PMB and Tinubu will never be close in governance ideas but they can always work together for permanent interests which is what politics is about. Bruv, dont hate. Appreciate.

All this grammar you are speaking is like explaining Buharis person to Aisha his wife. The woman has complained that APC humiliated her husband and you are here sugar coating it.

You watch Tinubu on tv and then you know him more than his wife.

This is the reality on ground, if they could do such in their first tenure, they will have little or no need for Tinubu after reelection.

So this is when he has to activate his trap.

Did he tell Ambode with his mouth? He waited for the last minute when Ambode was helpless to sting him.

The same way ambode did not see it coming, Buhari won't see it either.

Please, women are the more emotional sex. You are not a mature man if you don't know and make allowance for this fact of life. Why did Tunubu himself not say same? Because he is more circumspect and knows not to burn his bridges

Tinubu knows politics is not about permanent friends or enemies. It is about permanent interest . That is why he is now working with PMB. Buhari cannot do more than two terms and APC will not zone 2023 ticket to the North for the sake of equity so Tinubu would be a shortsighted fool if he does not see the bigger picture as his wife is unable to discern. Tinubu has bigger fish to fry. Make if that statement what you want.

Indeed. The ultmimate goal of Tinubu is for the Presidency to come to the SW under the APC because that will be a distinctly different kettle of fish to the last SW Presidency of OBJ. If you know you know.

Leave Mekaboy with his Tinubu obsession. He runs around claiming Tinubu would work for Atiku at the last minute and would betray PMB. I think this is because he secretly admires Tinubu and wants the man's legendary political sagacity at Atiku's disposal even as a child knows that proposition makes zero sense.

Can any sane person tell me what TInubu stands to gain from an Atiku and Obi win? SW back in the wilderness with 2023 ticket surely to bypass the region? Yes indeed Tinubu is a self-harmer who will work against his personal/regional historical interest he has fought to achieve his entire political life by siding with Atiku. Makes perfect sense.
