Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike has reportedly shocked the Presidential candidate of People’s Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar by resigning from the appointment given to him

The EASTERN TELEGRAPH gathered that Wike resigned his appointment as the south south zonal coordinator of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP presidential campaign council.

Ode, Gov Wike can't withdrew his support for Atiku, go and mark it on the wall, he was one of those that nominated Peter Obi as VP to Atiku, Wike is GEJ and mama Peace boy, he might resign as coordinator not his support, he doesn't what to be seen attacking Buhari during campaign, definitely he will work against him.

Wike has reelection to focus on

The stakes are very high in Rivers state. APC will stop at nothing in an attempt to rig their way and lay their thieving hands on the state's funds.

Wike needs to give that total attention to make sure it does not happen.

Stepping aside for someone else to take over the coordinator job is a wise decision.
