The Advanced Nigeria Democratic Party (ANDP) Governorship candidate for Lagos State in 2019 general elections, Dr. Oluwasegun Mutairu Musa has promised to take development beyond building bridges, roads, bus stops and flowers in the state if granted the insignia of power in 2019 general elections.

Speaking on Tuesday in Lagos during the presentation of his five points agenda namely: Housing and Infrastructure Development, Blue and Green Economic, Capacity Building and Job Creations, Unlocking Potentials of the Local Government Areas and Sports and Entertainment, christened as “Pillars of Hope” to the members of the press, Musa said the achievements of the past administrations in Lagos State since the inception of fourth republic have been centered only on the execution of cosmetic projects masquerading as infrastructural development, promising to run a people’s oriented government and decentralize power to the grassroots so that the local government areas can be developed.

The Aviation and Maritime Expert advised Lagos State government against encroaching dangerously on the water ways, in the name of claiming back land from water, warning that any surge of the ocean today in Lagos will be calamitous.

The aspirant who revealed that he has a road map to decongest Apapa, and returned it to its previous state said he is hungry to serve and promised to engage and work with all the political parties if voted into power.
“I will decongest traffic in Lagos State electronically. Lagos is due for E-Government which connotes operating from your comfort zone; getting in your comfort zone those things that are suppose to put you on the road such as certificates, license, passport and many more. By the grace of we will engaged the youths to design different apps to make all these possible for the good of our people.

The Badagry born politician promised to reduce tuition fees in all Lagos owned tertiary institutions if elected by fifty percent, stressing that primary and secondary education will be free, compulsory and value added and that if he wins, he we will train teachers to be proactive and productive.

Musa carpeted federal Government’s social intervention’s Trader Moni, describing it as an open way of corrupting the minds of the people to vote an incompetent Government.

“The Vice-President, Yemi Osinbajo should note that Lagosians are not beggars, government should stop dashing people money, they should create an enabling environment for jobs and opportunities to thrive so that people can feed their families.
It is embarrassing to be giving people money on the full-covered of camera, only a visionless government shares money that ought to be used to build infrastructures and develop ICT, they should stop corrupting us, Lagosians are hardworking people” he said.
He promised to cooperate with other south west governors to development the zone if granted the opportunity to serve the people. He vowed to work in collaboration with Ondo State Government to ensure that the 45-killometer Epe-Araromi Road is constructed to decongest traffic along Lagos Ibadan expressway and boost inter-state trade and investment.
