My car once broke down around here one time. It wasn't funny.

And to think that the hoards of foreigners(thousands) from all over the world that throng the Synagogue church every week also pass through that shithole of a road is even more shameful. For most of these visitors/tourists the only Nigeria they saw is: from Lagos airport enroute this same Isolo - Ejigbo road to the Synagogue church which is located along same road. And after their stay they go back to the airport through same bad roads and then back to their various countries with bad tales.
Can't the government do something to shore up Nigeria image?

Ejigbo has been like that since time immemorial. Very undeveloped area. Been there only once despite being a lagosian. Rather than complain much, bros make better money commot for there.

They need to expand the road too, apart from fixing it.

Just when I taught of bringing this topic here surprisingly OP had already done that. Whoever is the LGA boss of ejigbo is a useless Bastard. This road has always been in this shape year in year out. From Tinubu to fashola and now ambode and still nothing has been done. I remember in 2011 before the elections fashola came to Ejigbo and swore with his grand mothers grave that that road will be fixed immediately he was reelected. The people took him for his words gave him their mandate and at the end he disappointed them. Our leaders are heartless

Worst thing is that they(local govt n state govt) will claim to have spent millions to fix it. Terrible people!!.

What I don't always understand is - why is it that, it is at the worst parts of our roads in Lagos (Nigeria) that we have the presence of Government Agencies like LASTMA, FRSC, POLICE, CUSTOMS, IMMIGRATION etc. and yet nothing happens. Is it that these guys don't report the disgraceful state of the roads to their bosses or the Government?
This is why I will never stop for any Road Safety Corp along Mile2-Badagry-Seme road, because there is nothing 'safety' on that road amongst others.

That road is a nightmare. It has made living in Ikotun terrible. And I'm always angry seeing the campaign posters of those beasts around there, and more terrible is the LG Secretariat opposite the same bad spot and the car wash hat causes the water on that spot is owned by the LG chairman. I wonder why people vote.

Daily Nightmare On Nnpc Junction Ejigbo Lagos

I don't if this is the right section to post this, this is the state of nnpc junction Ejigbo on Ikotun-Isolo road. I really dont understand why any government will allow its people live through hell like this.

People spend countless hours morning, afternoon and night on this road because of a bad portion that is less than 50qm right in front of the Ejigbo local government office. It really painfull, i see school kids take off their uniforms in their school bus because of the heat while toddlers among them cry continiously.

I am using this medium to reach out to the lagos state government. Please fix this road, we can go into the festive season like this.
