Rex Okichie Appointed As New Station Manager, Bridge Radio by DejiPlug(m): 8:17am On Dec 08, 2018
Having garnered invaluable experience while working with different media outfits and also highly respected for his ability to learn, adapt quickly and take on multiple roles in every organization he finds himself, Rex Okichie's appointment as the New Station manager for Bridge Radio, Asaba, didn't come as a rude shock to those who knew him. Since his days at Metro FM, Lagos, Rex had always participated in everything, from being an On Air Personality to voicing and producing jingles for five years, then moved on to Urban Radio, Enugu, where he was both presenter and audio producer before eventually joining Bridge Radio, Asaba.

Remarkably, within two years, 33-year-old Rex Okichie has made a speedy and well-deserved rise through the ranks; from being a presenter, newscaster, editor, voice over artiste, audio producer, marketer to being the Station Manager. It is commendable to note that in spite of the elevation, Rex remains the On Air Personality on ‘The Home Run’ (5PM – 9PM) every day.

A growing platform engineered by a fiercely committed pool of talented staff and a visionary CEO, since its launch, Bridge Radio has served as a portal that mirrors the diverse cultures within and outside its coverage regions, via strategic communications, programme delivery and community centred conversations. Rex Okichie believes that creative thinking, strategic partnerships, fusion of new media and technology will make all the difference and most importantly, "Your platform is what you make of it"
