225/65/R15 has the same height as the op's 205/65/R15. The only difference is that 225 is wider but not taller. The middle numbers are the one that determine the tire profile.

a 195/70/R15 has a lower overall height to a 225/65/R15

I use 215/65R16. Gives me better ground clearance.

Meanwhile, Maxis make good tires, if you are looking for something strong and affordable.

Other brands are Michelin, Continental, Yokohama, Nokian... etc etc... These aren't cheap though.
