Dude, Ijebu is one out of the many nations that form Yoruba Commonwealth. Per thousand of headcount Ijebu has the highest richest and wealthiest nation anywhere in Africa.

Three out of the top five richest in Nigeria are from Ijebu.

Adenuga - Ijebu
Alakija - Ijebu
Otedola - Ijebu.

As far back you can go in history of old kingdoms and domains that existed pre-colonials, Ijebu is old money. British learnt tolling as a means for revenue generation from them. Ijebu taught Ibo import trade. They dont make noise because they are shrewd with their money and dont believe in flaunting.

After Ijebu will come Ibolo/Oro people. This is Osun/Kwara. They are naturally gifted in resourcing. They dont make noise either.

After these two before you start talking of Ibo money.

Records exist to prove my claims to you.

I have traveled all the cardinal points of Nigeria. I was born in Lagos. Minus Lagos which was developed by FG and other tribes, no South Western State is as developed as any South Eastern States. I am not talking about the state capitals only but even to the remote villages. How many non Igbo own a house in South East?

When it comes to the well traveled tribe the igbos are the well traveled tribe, the Yoruba are very good in administration and the Hausa Fulani own the politics and military. But commerce and business (import and export) belongs to the igbos.
