The Radical Christian

Pope francis once described Jesus as a radical. I wondered why the religious leader would use a word associated with violence and terrorism ,as I thought for Jesus.I quickly checked the dictionary where I discovered a radical is one who advocate for change.

I had portrayed. Jesus as a nice, gentle ,quiet guy who obeyed authority . I was wrong. Jesus grew up in a society known for "an eye for an eye", Jesus preached forgiveness. The Pharisees avoided sinners like a plague. Jesus dined with tax collectors stressing that the doctor comes for patient . His craving for change led to opposition from the religious leaders ..Jesus was not dismayed by their wrath.He stood for what he believed in.

In our society, when tradition goes wrong, we choose to keep quiet and go to God in prayers.We forget that we can speak up against that tradition . If we don't speak IP, " OSU Caste "will continue.
Others are very quick to criticize our politician but fail to extend such critism to our religious leaders.t

No one was called into the ministry of criticism or condemnation. If Jesus has given you an assignment then ask what you need to complete it and go for it squarely. And when Adeboye, Oyedepo are insulted vigorously which of them did you see calling on members to kill freeze or falz? Oyedepo has never for once mentioned daddy freeze since he started his ramblings and rantings on social media.

Adeboye remains one of the meekest and humble pastor I have ever known. But when people hear anything about money they start hurling curses at a man who is probably old enough to be their father.

Even when these pastors have legitimate grounds to sue for slander and defamation in court they've all but ignored all their detractors.

It doesn't require bravery or radicalism to insult any pastor, you just have to be a very uncouth person with a very poor upbringing and you are good to go.

It is not wisdom to mess with these men of God. Why not mind your business

You really do not have to insult anybody to drive home your point. Just say the truth humbly and live it there. Those words will judge them/ us on the last day

Lol what you owe any pastor is private prayers or private corrections. Now the problem is that most of you trying to "correct" don't even have any grip on your own spiritual lives. If Oyedepo is missing his way then freeze sef is totally lost... If I see an Adeboye cautioning an Oyedepo or an Oyedepo cautioning an Enenche I would be inclined to listen not a total bunch of demon inspired fellows. When Muslims, Atheists and impostor Christians gather together against pastors you know there is problem.
