Please, I've been hours on Google with no results.
The problem is that I have experience some kind of sharp tingling shock in my body whenever two steel or aluminum clangs. It's even worse this harmattan. Any help will be appreciated

No. It isn't phonophobia. The sound can be as mild as u can't imagine but once it's two steel clanging, it gives me some shock in my spine and teeth. I think I'm deficient of a mineral but don't know.... Pls help guys

Sounds like a phobia to me.

You are subconsciously scared of the clash of steel (probably plays a vivid image of sharp swords clashing in your mind) and this causes you to panic.


Based on your description, look up Hyperacusis / Acoustic Shock Disorder (ASD) to see if the symptoms are similar.

Ive had d same same experience b4 but went off some weeks after. And mine was after a severe malaria

ASD is at the extreme. I don't see the symptoms. I'm Still checking to see what I can get on google

I dont scrub metals together while cooking nau. I experience it mostly when I go to the market to get meat, the way the butcher sharpen their knife gives me headache or when someone is dragging a basin on the floor

I experience sometimes to when chewing some kind of snacks, like minimie chinchin.
