When on March 16, 2018, one of Nigeria's finest and youngest Oil Magnate declared his intention to contest for a seat and represent His district - Anambra South in the Nigerian Senate in 2019 in pursuit of His quest to advance the economic potentials of His people and immensely contribute to the state and the deepening of Nigeria's democratic process, one could decipher the genuineness of his ambition.

Already, not a few persons - elites and others who make up the zone believe his decision to seek election is a response to a clarion call to serve since the zone has been deprived of its legitimate share of dividends of leadership which often come in form of constituency projects, social welfare, effective leadership and other services being consequences of ineffectiveness on the part of past and present legislators who have represented the zone.

Over the years, Ifeanyi Ubah has risen to become a global brand in international business, energy, sports administration, media and even human development.

Prior His direct participation in the murky waters of Nigeria's politics, he was listed among the world's 40 under 40 business leaders and billionaires by a study sponsored by Britain's Oxford Brookes University in the year 2010.

Anambra South has not fared well on the strength of effective representation and this is squarely because of the failures of its past senators to approach the business of being in Senate with the seriousness it requires.

They have neither made strong cases for the zone in Senate or shown capacity to mobilize support for the zone at the central government.

With the various potentials which can boost tourism, trade, commerce, hospitality, education, national integration and other indices of growth, past and current senators have not given the good people of Anambra South what they bargained each time voters undergo extreme discomfort to cast their votes.

Nnewi which is a commercial hub that can boost industrialization in Anambra and beyond remains a reference point for industrialization only on paper and board room presentations. Nowhere else. This must stop being the case and the time is now.

Past senators from Anambra south failed but Ifeanyi Ubah will redefine leadership and excel. He will change the narrative and set new standards.

He will deliver good governance to the people of Anambra south because he has shown and continued to show a peculiar commitments grassroot development in Igbo land starting from Anambra.

His exposure to the world at an early stage as an astute businessman is an added advantage.

Past leaders failed to tackle erosion but he has a practical solution to the menace because our people deserve better communities and safer topography.

Nnewi as a business hub has more to offer than what is currently available and Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah is the only man who can make this happen because of the depth of His extensive relationship with the International Communities.

He wants to leverage this relationship to the benefit of Anambra South.

Anambra Southern requires a practical representation and solution to solving the problems of erosion, tourism, ecology and industry which only Ifeanyi Ubah has.

Another 4 years of an ineffective senator is a bad omen that must be nipped in the bud.
