That is what we call a day light robbery. These bills are estimated arbitrarily, they don't care if you turn on/off your loads all they know is billing it's customers outrageously.

A sensible disco should know that metering/ giving prepaid will reduce power consumption and perpetuate power, but instead they think about their own pocket.

This country was gone when tyrants took over power. There should be a massive protest on estimated billings by power sector. The highest fraud is in the power sector.

Its not about issue of been over billed... the more stable electricity is the more u pay..

The amount u pay for electricity depends majorly on availability of supply (how stable)... thats what most people dont understand...
Bros it's not all correct sir.
If you are using a pre paid meter you can still minimize your power usage but for a person who has no meter. It's pure over billing

even with prepaid meter, they are likely to pay more. we use prepaid meter here is Ogun state with steady power Suppy and I pay between 11-18k every months
You use prepaid metre and pay more because you on all your gadgets at the same time thereby making the metre to read fast. Don't you know that the rate for prepaid and postpaid are the same? Switch off appliances that you are not using and watch you bills reduce. Stop using yellow bulb because they consume more watts than the white one ( energy saving bulbs). Switch off fans not in use, and put on those appliances that you are using.

History has been made by Buhari. It has never happened in Nigeria from 1960 to 2015 that communities and cities get more power supply than required. Next level!
What stupid history, there are communities in Nigeria that boast of 24hrs electricity for long and they even in the south.

Electrical Engineers in the Disco firms I need answers to some questions.
1. How come certain areas get 24hrs power while others don't get?
2. Does MD knows which area gets more should the engineer increase the hours from rationing? For example Ugep town Cross River ( just illustration even though this town exist ) gets 6 hrs daily but the engineers increase it to 8hrs. Would the MD detect it?
3. What is so special about 33kva line compare to 11kva?
4. For those in Agege, Dozi street Ojodu Berger, how come those areas have more supply of electricity compare to Benin city (Uselu and environ)
