Talent shows and Financial empowerment events such as: Gulder Ultimate Search, Multina Dance All, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire (MTN stopped sponsoring), MTN Project Fame and so on Didn't hold.

Just recently, it was reported that 800 businesses has closed shops.

Companies are saving cost by cutting down on spending.

I noticed that most businesses did not decorate their business premises in anticipation of Christmas and New Year Celebration and most did not do promos. Even Black Friday of this year was unnoticed, unlike before.

I visited Shoprite in FCT, Banks, Ceddi Plaza and other places you can think of. Only in one Zenith bank branch did I see a fair decoration in Area 8.

I don't know of your State but more people are using their private cars to pick passengers, so as to cut running cost. I have seen SUVs and expensive cars used to pick passengers. Abuja people should bear me witness.

In a country of abundance of natural resources yet Over 70% of Nigerians live below $1 per day.

While politicians rake in Billions yearly, we are still debating N30,000 minimum wage (which value today is about N17000 in 2014). Yet prices of goods and services have skyrocketed!

Bread of N200 today is like that of N100 four years ago. I don't blame bakers, prices of their production materials have also skyrocketed, hence they give us lower quality bread and puffed at the same price (poor people can't buy bread of N500).

To add salt to injury, the Presidency told Nigerian to expect tougher times next year.
