8 Of The Cheapest Cars To Maintain by Godspower35(m): 2:19am On Dec 26, 2018
Below is a list of the eight most economical cars to maintain. It will show you some brands and models that can help you save your budget and your vehicle from higher repair costs.
The technicians intervened to put this list together. And, since people who see cars settle down day after day, they know which ones are the best.

1. Chevrolet Silverado, from 2003 to 2007

With space around the engine, Silverado is easy to work with, so the job is cheaper. Technology is also simple, leading to even cheaper labor. The parts are easy to find. This is the perfect storm for
a cheap car to maintain, and is true for both the V6 and V8 models of this particular car.

2. Honda CR-V, from 1996 to 2016

Honda cars are durable and retain their value, and the CR-V is no exception. The CR-V from 1996 to 2016 had the lowest frequency of "control engine indicator" repairs among all vehicles of the same date range. Less problems, besides the expected duration of the brand, make it a breeze to add to the list.

3. Honda Civic, from 2001 to 2016

Speaking of Honda, the Civic is at the top of the list of cheap vehicles to maintain. Spare parts are not hard to find, parts are readily available when you need them and the car's design makes most repairs easy to perform.
With the progress of the model years, Honda has abandoned some parts with known replacement periods, such as toothed belts. This means that the car lasts longer, with less maintenance.

4. Honda Accord, from 2003 to 2014

Like the last Honda in the list, we cannot emphasize more than these cars are reliable. The models before the 2003 model year were made with a toothed belt. From the 2003 models onwards, the timing belt has been eliminated.
The height of Accord reliability has been in the 2011 and 2012 model years. However, the Honda name virtually guarantees that you will get reliable and efficient performance.

5. Toyota Corolla, 1998 to 2017

Toyota Corolla is one of the most-sold cars in history. Since its launch in 1966, 44.1 million Corollas have been sold. Most of them are still on their way.
As one of the most reliable cars you can buy, the popularity of Corolla and the widespread availability of parts makes it the next car to look at when looking for cheaper maintenance.

6. Toyota Camry, 2008 to 2015

Speaking of Toyota, Camry is another great option. Known for many of the same advantages as the Corolla, the four-cylinder Camry is easy to repair and thus cheaper to maintain.
Combined with the Camry reliability rankings, which was the ideal 5/5 since 2017, the Camry is a classic favorite that requires no maintenance.

7. Jeep Wrangler, 2007 to 2017

Jeep Wranglers are easy and cheap to maintain, because while the engine is modern, the powertrain and suspension are simple. The traditional division of the internal components means that labor does not last long.
Although newer models are not as spacious next to the engine as the older ones, it is still a cheap car to maintain.

8. Nissan Altima, 2008 to 2015

Nissan's 36-month / 36,000-mile limited vehicle coverage and 5-year / 60,000-mile limited power-train coverage make them competitive with other brands. The Altima is easy to maintain when problems occur.
Known for its strong engine and reliability, the Altima will stand the test of time and be cheap to repair if something goes wrong.

Hold up a little, i trust a lot of NLers who have time for these lists to come up with something more accurate and applicable to our clime.

MY reasons for calling this list rubbish: Nissan altima? Jeep wrangler? chevrolet silverado?

Even the 1998 - 2004 volvo s40 is cheaper to maintain than all the cars on this list
