A lot of ladies(singles and married) say they want God-fearing men.

I keep wondering what they mean with the things I read and hear.

For a man to be God- fearing, it means he has the fear of God enough to obey and follow HIS precepts.

A man who is God- fearing shouldn't be involved in premarital sex, let alone forcing a lady to indulge in it no matter what society says since the bible clearly states God's stance on it.

He should treat you right because that's what God expects of him.

So, I read stuffs on here, real , fake, fiction, imagined etc and I keep wondering if it's not the same set of people who always say they want God- fearing men.

Has the word 'God- fearing' changed? and what exactly do ladies mean and expect?

One who fears God won't lie, he won't cheat, he won't hurt your feelings in whatever way.

The bible asked us not to be conformed to the standard of the world but be transformed by the renewal of our minds but we define the term based on the standard of the world. Most ladies definition of God fearing men is limited to CHURCH GOING MEN (Church Goers). A God fearing man would live his life in accordance to the word of God but now, as long as he goes to CHURCH and he's popular, regardless of his lifestyle outside the church, he's seen to be God fearing. Remember that we're always on our best behaviour in church.
