If this questions was posted on a United States website you will see a lot of reasonable comments and answers, but this is Nigeria �� only a few people are sensible enough to answer the question without insulting the poster, what if that guy is going through depression right now? You can have HIV without symptoms showing up for up to ten years. So you need to do an antibody test.

Usually, you do a test after three months of suspected exposure and a confirmation test after six months.
