Edo state is a land blessed in all ramifications.
The aggregation of the cultural diversity to stand as one people is a wonder to many people, even the early Europeans were stunned by the artistic, political, and military development of this metropolis.
Even in recent times the academic achievements of Edo people both in the tertiary and secondary level is a feat that deserves accolade.

But my main reason for writing this thread is to lament on the shortcomings of Edo state, which is posing a big problem for our society.

1) the first problem began by the increase rate of human trafficking in the Edo region, our young girls are no longer safe, girls, women and young children are being transported by fellow nigerians for prostitution, slavery and even pedophic reasons. But sadly some parents are behind the selling of their children into morden slavery, all for money.

2)the state took another blow, when hundreds of our youths lost their lives on the path to Italy through the dreaded lands of agades and Libya those who were not killed by hunger and starvation lost their lives to the merciless people of libya, the few who made it to the Mediterranean sea were havled by drowning in the sea.I don't really blame this set all they wanted was an easy means to get greener pasture, but some took it to the extreme by stealing large sums of money from their parents and work masters, all for the race to pick money from the streets of Italy.

3)just recently we have been hearing of scammers and G boys, who were supposed to be criminals, today they are celebrities in the clubs of Edo state, particular in Esan, were in every ten families, six out of them must have a yahoo boy in the family.what a sick generation

4)more scary now is the new development of yahoo+ ,boys who can't get their hands on real scamming, engage in deadlier activities, imagine someone buying houses worth from 20 to 56 million under 3months of travelling to countries like senegal and turkey.
Kids are getting missing everyday, our females patronising this Gguys either end up with worms coming out of their organs or some other sick situations.

Edo people we need to curb this situation before it becomes something else the youths are getting aggressive, every boy is thinking of riding venza and Lexus instead of focusing on their acedemics

I am an Edo citizen and I know about the happenings in my immediate society the youths of Esan land particularly in the town of uromi, let's work together to stop this moral decadence.

Honestly it is becoming alarming here in Edo state. Almost every damn nigga, including the innocent-looking ones are into "g-boyism." Today you'll hear that Efosa went out with Irabhor and the next day, whilst Irabhor will turn to an overnight millionaire, Efosa will be declared missing. It is even painful that some parents back up their kids in this evil.

I keep telling them through the book on my siggy that the present scourge which is still very much a handful is the issue of human trafficking and irregular migration and when you allow this issue of lazy youths who'd rather reap from where they haven't sown into the mix, what you'd get will be a catastrophe the like of which the nation as a whole is yet to witness..

There is fire on the mountain....
