Happy new year people. Quick one I want to rent a part of an apartment not directly from the landlord but the occupant. But before I make payment tomorrow, I want to ask what are the steps I can take to guarantee security so I don't get swindled. According to her the landlord is not in the country, the rent will be due soon so we are paying the next rent together. But this is Nigeria. PA: it is the occupant that is putting the space up for rent so She is the only one I can and I am relating with. |

Get everything in a written typed agreement with the tenant and both of you should sign Pay into the tenants account |
