as the name implies, it is using digital means to market either a product or a service.

Digital means simply put internet.

There are several aspects of digital marketing.
Search engine optimization- optimizing websites to rank higher on search engines like Google e.t.c( like when someone searches a term on Google, you can optimize a website to come up on the first page to then end that people who search comes to your website)


Facebook marketing, Instagram Marketing, twitter marketing- setting up of those social media platforms to market whatever skill you have and growing your audience on social media, including the use of ads to promote your products


Google Analytics- for Analyzing the performance of your website like number of visitors, actions of visitors, location, age, device, gender of visitors on your website.

Email marketing- grow your email list and get your customers to keep buying from you over and over again. Setting up auto-responder emails e.t.c


Survey- setting up online research and survey to know what service you can give or improve on for your customers and also to gather more customers.


There are more though..these are just few. It's a very marketable niche since most people are online now and almost everything can be gotten online.
