Until January 8th 2019 a lot of Deltans did not know the intellectual deficiency of Chief Great Ogboru who like Buhari has contested every election since 2003. One will wonder why a man who desire to govern delta state with a mass of intellectual power house will not have an economic blueprint or road map of what he intends to do rather than just grab power and make economic gain for himself and family.

A lot of his supporters who have abused their intellectuals minds by bringing forth a man who is intellectually bankcrupt as their candidate same thing most Nigerians such as Soludo, Oby Ezekwesiele, Fela Durotoye, Wole Soyinka amongst others just to mention a few, who in 2015 package and sold Buhari to Nigerians that has eventually destroyed our economy and turned Nigeria to the poverty capital of the World.

We will not allow a few disgruntled element to deceive Deltans with an Ogboru as a supposed messiah when the same Ogboru cannot express himself in simple logical terms. It will interest you to know that Ogboru cannot appear on a live TV show for a simple interview because of his academic deficiency and inability to talk off the books prepared for him which is same thing President Buhari is doing.

Just to point out a classic case, during the APC crises of 2018 that led to the formation of parallel executives in the Delta state chapter between the Ogboru and Ortega faction, all contending parties came on Channels TV to express their various positions but Ogboru who we all know cannot talk off the books was represented by his younger brother Turner Ogboru for obvious reasons.

Ogboru could be likened to an infant who upon seeing his older siblings preparing for school, starts crying that he wants to follow them to school when he doesn't know what he will be going there for. That is the kind of man some people want us to surrender our state to. For the fact that people are running for governor, I he too wants to govern Delta state with little or nothing to offer. So it will be a disaster for any right thinking individual to support an Ogboru who has nothing to offer the people in terms of governance.

What we need now in delta state is not an experimental governor but a man with extraordinary qualities with clear cut political ideology of what he wants to achieve. We need a man with an economic blueprint that will translate to economic and infrastructural development of the state.

Sen Dr Ifeanyi Okowa has so far within the last three years of his administration made giant strides on virtual all sectors of the economy from health to education, roads, agriculture, wealth creation, peace and security. With the success stories and testimonies from Deltans on the impact of the Smart Agenda, Okowa is committed to building a Better and stronger Delta.
