December 2018, I sent a subordinate to the bank with my ATM card to carry out a financial transaction,I could v transferred the money to the account number but I needed to have a copy of d receipt for security reasons.
So I had to instruct him to withdraw and deposit the money in the said account and come back with the receipt.
But after withdrawing the cash,ATM card got stuck in the ATM machine and the bank security told him he can't get the card back and the card will be destroyed as soon as it is retrieved from d machine by a bank staff.

Fast Forward to 15 Jan 2019, @ 22:48pm. I received a debit alert of #1.00 and #20,000 respectively. The details of the transaction clearly stated that it was an online purchase.

And the only time my card details could have fell into the wrong hands was when d bank ceased it and claimed it will be destroyed.

I need advice,what do I do next?

If at anytime your ATM is not with you for any reason , first thing is always to block it

But then, nothing is wrong with transfer, you can always do it.
Your records are with your bank, you can get it at any time either at the bank or through the bank app or your internet banking account

If the third-party wants immediate confirmation, you can always screenshot each successful transfer for evidence

First thing to do was to block that card and put a hold on transactions on your account.

No one can say for sure what really happened inbetween the person you sent and the card getting stuck at the machine. I personally feel your card didnt get stuck at any ATM, you should contact your bank and also contact the bank your card got stuck in, and finally you may need to quiz the person you last gave your card to very well.
