I never knew nairaland could go global not until I dropped my number on one of the dating and meet up threads in the Romance section and a lady with a US number chatted me up on WhatsApp.i was elated . :Dshe said she's Nigerian from abia state and told me her name and I told her mine..we exchanged other pleasantries and she now said before we continue chatting.. She'll give me her list of boundaries and it included no sex chat..nude pics bla bla..no asking for financial help or trying to know her financial status and many other stuffs...I told her I'm ok with it but what if I'm not ok with the boundaries..what would be her action..she said we'll stop being friends..shortly After she started saying she's becoming suspicious of me for asking such question and I'll have to grow my integrity..I felt insulted and told her I'm not comfortable with that and she should bear in mind the notion of people living in Nigeria are all fraudsters doesn't apply to everyone..and even US isn't Green as people presume..that I pray my hard work pays off that I'll travel global and also give people boundaries.. she flared up and blocked me..I'm saying this to all guys be yourself when you meet a female irrespective of her standards and be confident.. Think the girl should focus on finding friends and love over ther in USA.......Don't see a reason why after spending so long a time over there any girl with good character or morals wouldn't be able to find a lover in the country she lives in. BTW this lady feels all Nigerian guys are bad, yes a good number are fraudulent esp. When dealing with people abroad but this thinking would never allow her be friends with the Good guys cause her mindset is terribly bad. I'm not surprised to read intriguing comments from female monikers esp we are entitled to our opinion..I was elated because i thought the dating/meet up thread couldn't really hook one up with another..I am always confident when conversing with females and even if she's Queen of England..ill only respect her but I won't fear her and tell her my standards and also correct her when she's wrong..that's what happened in my case because she started expressing a general negative mindset about Nigerians and still wanted to chat with me..this actually pissed me off..i am posting this story for other guys to learn from and raise their heads high of they know they don't have any skeleton in their cupboard...it's obvious she wasn't destined to be my friend talk more of taking it to another level.. peace  2 Likes |
