The well known Nigerian artiste after winning an award at the Sound City MVP awards held in Eko Hotel, Lagos who was previously the first Nigerian to get 1 million followers on Instagram, has gone even further to become the first Nigerian celebrity to hit 9 MILLION on the platform.This was observed and noted during a recent check on his Instagram page by Eazi Blog.


Just as you know, he is the most followed Nigerian celebrity on the platform as discussed earlier in one of our posts on Eazi Blog.
We can also remember that he was among the only few Nigerian celebrities to have about Five hundred thousand views for a one of his posts on Instagram. He has also again beaten his own record by getting up to One million views for one of his recent posts on Instagram. The post he got this views of a video showing him during the video shoot of one of his songs he did with label mate Zlatan Ibile (another celebrity) showing them dancing a new kind of dance called “Zanku”. As at now we all know that Davido is the Nigerian celebrity with the highest number of Instagram followers.
Davido also has a very high amount of Facebook and twitter followers but he has the highest in Instagram and he is also among the leading Nigerian celebs with the highest followers there.
Davido is also followed by Star Boy (Wizkid) having 6.9 million followers and Tiwa Savage having 6.5 million followers. It will actually take some time for these two celebrities to reach him but with time we will see what they can do to that.
