Aha! Thanks for the heads-up. Boiled unripe plantains with the Kenwood mixer... I've never thought of this before now despite having a Kenwood mixer. Pounded boiled plantains, easy peazy.

There's indeed a vast array of creative ways to make these foods instead of eating the monotonous boiled unripe plantains and fried eggs or chicken stew combos.
