I studied mathematics and physics via College of Education and I now want to study mathematics and statistics at Federal University of Lafia. Can I be admitted through direct entry or is it better to write Jamb? Please help...

U wud gain DE admission, once u meet their requirement...I dont know much abt NCE grades but if it's poly or diploma, i knw most universities only consider upper credit for DE admission. I tink urs sud b merit or so, some wud still require u write UTME even wit ur upper credit (Not all).


Just make findings about the requirements of the sch u wud lik to apply to. I'l advice u to process 2 or 3 schs anyway. But u cant study maths n stats 2gether in uni, u av 2 choose one, even in faculty of education, u cant run 2 programs 2gether. Best of luck

With good grade, u'l be admitted to faculty of natural sc/sc. It is not possible you see mathematics and stats...What u saw was - Mathematics with "option" of statistics, that is B.sc Math (stats). Yes, some schs run it like dat n its cool cos you would av multiple knowledge...As 4 d requirements, there's notin wrong in visiting the sch ursef 4 verification.
