To start with, we are all in this struggle together. I'm not a kind of evangelist that claims to be holier or better that other people. As long as we are in this world, we are all flesh and blood.

January 2019 is about rounding up already. What is your new year resolution(s) and how have we faired?

Mine is to completely surrender to the Will of my YAHWEH ALMIGHTY the Creator of all. Just to let you know what led to mine:

I entered last year a very comfortable person, with my personal house (built by me) a good car and 2 guys living with me. I wake up to smell of good food, my car already washed, etc. So, I felt I was ripe to marry the most naturally beautiful daughter of Zion that I've ever seen in my Life, I met her in 2017.

She helped me understand the Scripture better. She's the holiest and most naturally beautiful girl I've ever seen, no makeup, ear rings, attachments, etc. 2 weeks after I met her, the Lord showed me a Vision that she's not my wife. But I quickly brushed it aside, because I thought it was the devil trying to make me lose the best that GOD Himself gave me(it was my blind choice) Marriage was so much in the pipeline, so I took very good care of her during which I spent nothing less than N0.65Million.

Towards the end of 2018, serious revelations, warnings and physical confirmations came from HOLY SPIRIT that she's not my wife. HE said I should forget about marriage for now. Letting her go is the most difficult thing I've had to do in Life, so I told her to pray about it too. I said it's hard to let go, she said it's harder for her.

"Not my will but thine oh LORD" is a junction that all true Children of GOD must submit to because HE has seen the end from the beginning. John 4:34, Luke 22:42.

So, by 1st of this January, I made my new year resolution to completely follow JESUS' directives and instructions this year. Experience has taught me that HE has seen the end from the beginning. We both agreed to let go. I deleted everything about her, but yesterday, I was faced with the real test of will power. I almost broke my new year resolution. I stumbled on some of her pics on my phone, I was overwhelmed and picked up my phone to dial her number.

I quickly stopped, deletes the pics and refocused on the needful. HalleluYAH! So, tell us about your new year resolution too. "Iron shapeneth Iron" Proverbs 27:17.

You cant stop 2 habits at a time not to talk of 3-4.

Learning is a process, if you open your mind and set a realistic goals, as long you work towards it, success is certain but you must be time cautious ( Resolutions).

To keep a new year resolution is not easy

Last year December I sworn that I won't play sport bet this 2019

I tried keeping to it for the first two weeks

But now I have gone back to it

It's hard for me

I am trying.
I have been able to stay totally away from bet9ja. And also women to some extent.

Most people make unreasonable, unrealistic resolution. Someone who has a high libido, who has had sex every single week of the year will just decide, okay, this coming year, I want to practice celibacy. A very unrealistic goal. One should rather take it in steps, let weeklies become every 2 weeks. From there, u extend it to 3 weeks, then to 4 weeks abstinence. Then 1month, 2 months up to 6 months, before you even think of achieving the feat for a whole year.

Sex/Mariage is not the ultimate purpose for being alive. We are have just one life to live, the choice to maximize it is personal.
I know of a Pastor that married against the revelation of the Holy Spirit and died within 5 years of marriage. GOD sees what man's limited eyes can never see. HOLY SPIRIT is the best friend any genuine Christian can have.
