hi,good morning.please I have a challenge and wonder if you can be of help.I lost my mum.and u know only her savings account UBA...but I believe she has other banks.how can I use her bvn to get to know other accounts .which agency can do that as uba said they don't have the capacity to do it. |

Your Barrister can get a letter of administration and send it to every bank in Nigeria on your behalf. If the BVN tallies with anyone's account at that bank, they will give you access to the account. 1 Like |

ToluNewman: thank you Tolunewman....I just payed my lawyer 70k for letter of administration.... but this he said is to access d accounts already known ....he said he can't access any other account he does not know of ....he can't go from bank to bank asking if NY mum has an account there ... |

eddy1234: Well, the strategy that some lawyers adopt especially for wealthy individuals that probably have numerous unknown accounts is to send such letters to all banks in the country. |

Whats the need of using 1 bvn on all accounts if CBN cannot tell you all the accounts linked to the bvn. have you tried CBN? Wicked Nigerian banks will be so glad to make the accounts DORMANT, instead of contacting the next of kin. why KYC if they NEVER use it to our benefit? may God strenghten you at this time. |
