Shield in the Cloud Innovation Challenge is the first global anti-corruption innovation challenge. It is a joint venture with their partners Amazon Web Services and the PeaceTech Lab. The anti-corruption innovation challenge aims to publicly reward and build awareness of these inspiring organisations who are taking big steps in this core space towards building sustainable peace.

About the Challenge

The challenge is aligned with the UN’s global sustainable development goals, one of which promotes just, peaceful and inclusive societies:
“Corruption, bribery, theft and tax evasion cost some US $1.26 trillion for developing countries per year; this amount of money could be used to lift those who are living on less than $1.25 a day above $1.25 for at least six years” [UN’s global sustainable development goals]...
