The word "own" is quite heavy for this context, because nobody owns anybody, truly.

If someone gets to own you,then you really aren't a MAN. It's as simple as that.

Nobody owns anyone.

The mother didn't do anything out of the ordinary for him. She breastfed him and took care of him because she brought him into the world. It is her obligation to take care of him.

As a man, a married one, he has more obligation to his wife more than his mum. His mum has her own husband that cares for her too. Mums should quit blackmailing their sons emotionally.
