This country will never move forward if we don't stop electing uneducated idi.ots as leaders. Nigerians especially from the south, easy and West must use their brain and stop voting this abo.ki people into power. These guys are destryoing this country. They don't know jack and keep pulling others back.

How can a phucking INEC chairman postpone an election they had all the time in the world to prepare for? How can you not have everything ready before fixing a date? This is not some mei ruwa or mei suya bullsh.it...It's a phucking general election. If you knew you were not prepared why fix a phucking date. Vote educated people and reject illiterate.

This is what happens when INEC top dogs dedicate more time planning on how to rig for their relatives than plan logistics, at the deadline they now realize their did not focus on their core jobs enough to see that materials were supposed to be delivered on time.

They were busy hoarding PVC and sharing among their cohorts.

What a mess of a country, they get nothing right.

PoliticsNigeria:
@POLITICSNGR

PoliticsNGR has been furnished with a transcript of the full statement by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC on the postponement of the 2019 General Elections. Read Below;

"The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) met on Friday, 15th of February 2019 and reviewed its preparations for the 2019 General Elections scheduled for Saturday, 16" February 2019 and Saturday, 2nd March 2019.

Following a careful review of the implementation of its logistics and operational plan and the determination to conduct free, fair and credible elections, the Commission came to the conclusion that proceeding with the elections as scheduled is no longer feasible.

Consequently, the Commission has decided to reschedule the Presidential and National Assembly Elections to Saturday, 23% February 2019.

Furthermore, the Governorship, State House of Assembly and Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Area Council Elections is rescheduled to Saturday 9" March 2019. This will afford the Commission the opportunity to address identified challenges in order to maintain the quality of our elections.

This was a difficult decision for the Commission to take, but necessary for the successful delivery of the elections and the consolidation of our democracy.

The Commission will meet key stakeholders to update them on this development at 2 p.m. on Saturday, 16" February 2019 at the Abuja International Conference Centre."

Mohammed Abubakar must resign before the election.

Did he not know that postponing at the last hour like this can cost Nigeria a fortune, can even result to loss of lives, rescheduled appointments and events?

Why not postpone a week before now?

This is catastrophic.

Why wait till eve of election b4 assessing your preparedness? This should have been done a week to election day, so that eventual postponement will not cause much.
1. Imagine all the international observers that travelled down to the country
2. Businesses were closed down because of the election
3. Schools shutdown since Wednesday across the country
4. People closed their businesses and travelled home to vote
5. For fear of violence and unknown, many in their usual panic mode have done different things
6. The whole nation was put in suspense etc
Now this incompetent asshole shattered everything in pieces. This guy is not honourable at all. He is supposed to resign for failing the country. People wont take us serious anymore as a country.

Anyway 4+4 is still the surest thing.
