Today the 20th of February, I am traveling to my home town in Imo state. I will be updating you guys about the road situation.
Let's know if what we have been seeing and hearing in the media is true about the roads.

My journey starts from Nyanya. Just as usual, there is traffic congestion around that area.

From airport road to Gwagwalada, the roads are okay with little to no traffic. Cars just speeding anyhow. Abuja is sweet for those who love fast and furious.

Ok Stay safe... U might miss d hill if d driver decides to got thru Opi junction though... Anyways enjoy d trip.. I prefer dat route considering I won't have to face d numerous annoying stops at checkpoints if I had to continue ahead to 9th mile...

The roads so far have been good until the border of Abuja and Kogi. Pot holes becomes a norm (guess Dino and Yahaya are busy to notice)

There is massive construction going on in the bridge before Lokoja town. That spot was a death trap

The network is so bad around the road. No 4g and to browse is boring cos of its slowness.

80% of posters in Lokoja here belong to Apc. Don't know why sha. (why do they refer to Yahaya as "white Lion")

Stopped briefly at a restaurant in Lokoja high way to eat.
The journey continues.

Since the network isn't friendly, I will snap and update all I saw in the evening. But seriously, Yahaya or whatever his name is, is not trying with regards to state roads. Even roundabout that my governor excels in, is a big challenge for him.

Lokoja - Ajeokuta express is still bad. That road has been under construction since........ Not for pregnant women oo.

Many federal road in the south east needs repair or full rehabilitation. The Enugu Portharcourt road is one such that have received attention. Work is seriously ongoing in one lane of the express. The express from Enugu till you reach Imo state boundary is been worked on.
Work is also ongoing within Okigwe axis.
