As a special version of the Samsung Galaxy S10 debuted earlier this week which features 5G connectivity, it is quite unfortunate that there is no 5G network in Nigeria. So, the 5G feature will be virtually useless to Nigerian users.

When do you think we would meet up with others in the 5G realm?

Opinions Please

We have not reached the potential of 4G yet so why focus on something still under experimentation in saner climes?
MTN claimed they operate 4G service in Port Harcourt, my living area was listed as one of the available locations.
Fast forward three years and I still have not seen my 4G phone connectivity signal light up.
I have no idea the benefit of the service despite switching my SIM twice to access the feature.

When in PH you don't have MTN 4G?
Even as far as Obio/Akpor is full bar MTN, Ntel and Airtel 4G.

4LTE hasn't been installed nationwide you are talking of 5G.Ncc will have to approve it first before any network can utilize it

My phone as I type now is still showing 3G.
This is despite my multiple SIM exchanges over three years and enabling 4G/LTE in the device’s settings.
Make MTN carry their wayo go, jor.
I don tire for their matter.

Bruh, we rarely enjoy 3G in its truest form.

4G is for show.

Let's fix these ones first. Forget 5G.

There is no situation, go and get yourself a working 4G compatible phone.
Thanks.
