Elections come and go, likewise politicians come and go but the country remains. While wise citizens are able to witness many elections in their lifetime the foolish ones waste their lives for nothing.

As we go into another election, we wish to appeal to all Nairalanders to shun violence and embrace peace before, during and after the election irrespective of the happenings around you.

In paraphrasing Jonathan, No politicians is worth the shedding of your blood.

Vote for the candidate of your choice and leave the rest to INEC and God. Whatever will be will be.

Experience has shown that most of the politicians that appear like sworn enemies today often come back to wine and dine together, and the not-so-wise people that died for them would have died in vain.

If Politicians' children are too precious to be used by them for violence, you are more precious to your family to be wasted by any politician.

Irrespective of the result now, whether you like it not, there will always be another election in the future and if you are wise, you will participate in many elections..

Vote, that is your obligation. You do not owe anyone a duty to die. Value your life, if you are still alive you can be better than them.

Say no to violence, say no to blood letting.

Make a choice with your PVC & let Nigeria be the winner! Spread the word

When the elections are done and over, we will still remain Nairalanders and Nigerians.

We wish you all a violent free and peaceful election..

Regardless the outcome our nation shall not decend the valley of blood letting

inasmuch as we all have our preferred candidates God's counsel alone it is, that shall prevail.

Nairalanders, irrespective of our differences , pls take heed to this advice. I don't want to lose any of you. After this election, may we all gather together in our nairaland beer parlour to celebrate Nigeria. Finally , am wishing Buhari a safe journey back to his enclave in Daura.

Congratulation to Nigerians on this beautiful day. It's the best day in the life of Nation. I'm not expecting it to be perfect but I am hoping it will be a step to an electoral system that works and that we all can trust.

Abeg, the fake news carrier should not get on my nerves today. Losers should lose with dignity. If you lose and say Nigeria must lose with you, God will punish you and your entire family. Or if you see that you are about to lose, you are now telling Nigerians to arise in violence, violent will not cease in your life. Amen.

We may not support same candidate but this FOOLhari shouldn't be an option for any sane Nigerian to vote.....
Another four long years of lies, of hunger, of bokoharam killings, of Fulani herdsmen killings, of a presidents lawlessness, of neotism and all manner of injustices by a sitting president is a no NO.......
Think about our future.
Nigerians vote wisely
Re: For A Violent-free And Peaceful Election by BuhariLooter(m): 6:59am On Feb 23, 2019
My people in as much as WE will love atiku to win his supporters must rise and go and vote,he can't win on nairaland with likes and shares,so go to your polling unit and vote
Pmb has die hard supporters in the north,i heard some have even been sleeping in their wards just to cast their votes for him.
Pls don't let us allow this evil to come back for the second time because of our negligence.
Vote Atiku and stay till the votes are counted, its just once in every four years,so why can't you sacrifice that day for your country.
Vote don't fight.
