The presidential election day is here. Today,Nigerians will decide who will steer the government of the nation in the next four years.

THE MAIN CONTENDERS

(1) president Muhammadu Buhari : first on the list is the incumbent president and candidate of the ruling party APC. The man with the mantra"Next level". Buhari have been lauded by some Nigerians for his fight against corruption. However, some Nigerians have berated His anti corruption stance calling it a hoax.

(2) Alh. Atiku Abubakar : Atiku is the candidate of the PDP. An ex- vice president during OBJ era, Abubakar is the man with the mantra"Let's Get Nigeria Working Again" Atiku believe that His presidency will restore Nigeria lost glory. Nigerians will decide their fate today.

(3)Third force : This group consist of young,vibrant and eloquent personalities such as Omoyele Sowore,Kingsley Moghalu,Fela Durotoye,Kashim,etc. However, these candidates political playform are being considered ad lightweight in Nigeria politics. Thus some Nigerians considers their candidacy as dress rehearsal for 2023.
