Hello everyone..
Please i want to run a banner ads on Nairaland and have create the banner using the acceptable format
318 pixels wide, 106 pixels tall.

Now the image size is 56kb instead of the acceptable 30kb. Tried using online compressor but its not just working.

How do i reduce the size to 30k please or where do i go to in photoshop settings to reduce image size without cropping it.

There are 2 ways you can do that:

1. press Ctr+alt+i
then reduce the resolution [untick the 'constrain proportion' to avoid it changing your image dimension, since you know it already]
the resolution will likely be 72, you can reduce and save your image.


Option 2: Use the "Save as" option, under the image option move the slider to extreme left, this should reduce the quality of the image to your desired kb/mb.


Try option 2 first, if you don't get the desired size before you try 1
