That was harsh just for having a male visitor. There are things our parents did that I will never emulate. If I am a dad I will make sure I spend so much time with my kids to train them very well right from day 1 of birth, so that I will be confident they will always make the right decisions. If my 17 year old daughter brings a boy to my house I wouldn't do anything to her because I know I have trained her very well so she will always choose good friends whether male or female and never misbehave.

nowadays parents wants to bond with their kids but parents of yesteryears were disciplinarians to the core. I wouldn't do that to my kids but their will still be flogging where it is applicable. I cannot have spoilt children mbanu
