I was just discussing politics with a colleague this afternoon and I found out for the first time that INEC would give every political party 50 billion Naira each!

I have therefore decided to register my own party, so that I can also benefit from the National cake!

I would call the party People's Progress Party (PPP).

I need interested people to join forces with me, so that we can contest the next election (in 2011) and take Nigeria forward, if we win.

If we don't win any seat, it's ok, as long as we get 50 billion Naira!

Girl do you know what it takes to register a party?

how to recruit genuine members who'll be behind you .every step .

Mukina, you seem to have forgotten that Nigerian politics is really all about God Fatherism.

It's about who you know. That is why I am canvassing for support.

I am sure that in two years time, I would have gotten my party registered, and we would be making good progress towards the 2011 elections!

Don't also forget that there are women behind certain political parties in Nigeria.

Hey gal its a nice idea but believe me you are paid just 30 million naira after not 50 billion, if i9t were everyone will be contesting and by the time u register your party, pay for the presidential form which is 5m and then do a few campaign here and there, am sure u will be having just a few millions left as profit. 50 billion ke?how much does INEC have, if the presidential candidates collected 50 billion in 2003 how come they still look the same way they used to look eg olapade Agoro. Think about it well, if you are serious go into it for other reasons like fame because this is naija and u will definitely spend more than you will get back especially if you have got no God fathers.Good Luck

But seriously speaking, i guess Party forms cost about 5 million or 20 million naira, then registration and all that crap so just be ready to raise 30 mill for a start.

I need to know as well. Just before the (s)elections, I was discussing something similar with a friend too, and he said each presidential candidate is given 500 (five hundred) billion Naira. I told him that's totally unrealistic. . I mean, that's half a trillion naira!

omo, Nigeria Intrest Group(NIG) is a good party name to begin with and am also devicing a strategic and reliable ballot box that rejects cheating and reliable for all.
