Please which is more reliable between the Seagate Backup plus slim 4TB OR Western Digital My Passport 4TB.

I need one that can last for long and has lesser failure rates.

Anyone who has an idea on the reliability of each should help out before I make a mistake.

They are both very good choices. The Seagate copies larger files faster sha but in terms of rigidity, WD can take a hit better

I'm quite a careful person with accessories.

Which one is most likely to just pack up like after 2 years.

I don't think any will if u properly eject from notification before pulling out hdd from laptop.

I bought my wd external hard drive 500gb,in 2012,it has never crashed,I have never lost any data.some files I collected during Nysc more than 5 years ago are still there. My other HDD are internal HDD that I put in a case,I have never used Seagate,but I doubt it will be anything special than Western digital.
