Lately my es330 Lexus 2005 model started overheating I have tried washing the 1year old radiator and also did some assessment still no success the overheating becomes worst when the AC is on secondly it also dries water I checked but no leak please what else can make this car overheat pls your suggestions are needed


This check signal is always showing

Try to observe the colour of smoke that comes out from your exhaust. Secondly use coolant instead of water. This will make the exhaust smoke more visible.. I am sure there is a crack somewhere in the engine that is drying up the water

Sir if i may say. That if the car is moving can you bring it down too our workshop cause the problem can be caused by 1) blockage in the cooling sytem 2) Leakage or cracked engine cylinder or engne block. But sir for proper inspection you can bring it down to our workshop. Thankyou

I will try what you said I definitely need to fix that car

scan the vehicle it will show you that the oil coolant sensor is bad.......and need changing. very simple and not expensive. looks like this

Ok and am in lagos. For the overheating issue i will advice you to go and do a leak test in an auto workshop they will use the tool called the coolant pressure tester to carry out the test. And if i may ask what type of smoke is the car emitting if it is white i guess you go for replace. Thank you

yeah that car changed immediately this overheating started the movement is fine and Sharp but the engine do heat up so fast

That dashboard is an eyesore. Fix your tail lights, get the VSC looked at, and reset your oil mileage counter.

It sounds like head gasket damage, a scan would never detect head gasket issues..........

I have taken it for a head gasket check but they said is isn't the head gasket because it is not showing sign of a gasket damage different engineers has inspected the Head gasket for sign and symptoms but no fault found

Things are looking good then...... Was a compression test carried out?....

Check your radiator cap.Get an auto shop and perform compression test.

how you guys just come up with spurious diagnosis baffles me. Did you read his complaints?
