The French motorcycle company, Lazareth have turned their Maserati V8-powered four-wheel leaning motorcycle into a flying version with jet turbines in the wheels.

The “ La Moto Volante ” – the Flying Motorcycle is based on his Lazareth LM 847 with a 350kW, 4.7-litre Maserati V8 that was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2016.

The power required for takeoff is provided by turbines which is around 1300 horsepower with 2800N of thrust. The body is made of kevlar carbon composite, the transition from the road mode to the flight mode is done by operating a simple switch on the dashboard.

At the center of each of the four-wheel hub is a powerful jet turbine, exhaust facing downward, similar to a quadcopter drone, but with much more power.

The concept, inspired by the first model of LM847 , takes the visual signature of the latter. Instead of the Italian engine, a composite body hides the kerosene tank.

Wow! I have seen a bike to make me feel like a superhero like "Batman".

yeah! that's fiction turn reality. I never thought of those childhood heroes of which batman was one, now coming to mind is Nicolas Cage and his death bike flaming with fire in (pardon my forgetfulness can't recollect the name that movie).
