Abdullahi Ganduje, incumbent Governor of Kano State, has secured a second term in office as winner of the governorship election.

Ganduje, who contested on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), won with a margin of more than 9,000 votes after the collation of figures for the supplementary elections held on March 23, 2019.

Two local government areas had delayed the final collation till now: Kibiya and Nasarawa LGAs. However, the results for the LGAs in supplementary elections were declared on Sunday evening, the results for both LGAs were announced. For Kibiya LGA, Abba Yusuf, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) polled 228 votes, while the All Progressives Congress (APC) polled 371 votes. I blame Kwankwaso for not having thugs in place to resist the rigging. A commissioner was in charge of security in the state and thugs never took over but common supplementary election in few Lgas AIG couldn't not handle

Be adding controversial..... APC wins Kano...as simole as ABC. PDP can go to the tribunal.

Sokoto, Bauchi, Adamawa, Benue were not controversial... now that it is APC win...it is controversial.

Still wondering how we got here. The worst thing that has ever happened to Nigeria politics is APC. Elections have been ridiculed in Nigeria to the extent of military getting involved in partisan politics.

We were warned but we played ethnic and religious sentiments and now here we are.

That we invested over N200billion in INEC and this election and this is what Yakubu could give us is really shameful.

Ganduje never won Kano, it is crystal clear.
