The badness going on worldwide is clear evidence that we are deep in the last days. 2Timothy 3:1-6 are clearly been fulfilled today.

When the day of destruction will come, many will be cuaght by surprise. Surprise because, they thought it will never happen or that day will never be fulfilled.

People are so self centered and absorbed in their day to day activities, that they hardly pay serious attention to the Bible warnings in our day.

Well, psalm 37:9-11 states:

For evil men will be done away with,But those hoping in Jehovah will possess the earth. ו 10 Just a little while longer, and the wicked will be no more;You will look at where they were,And they will not be there. 11 But the meek will possess the earth,And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.

Gods warning to the wicked, is certain to be fulfilled. In the time of Noah, he used flood of water. In the time of Sodom and Gomorrah, he used fire from heaven.

Today, the Bible has not specified exactly what God will use to destroy the wicked, but what is certain is that, that day will not be good for bad people at all.

Zephaniel 1:14-18 states-

14.The great day of Jehovah is near!It is near and it is approaching very quickly!The sound of the day of Jehovah is bitter.There a warrior cries out. 15 That day is a day of fury,A day of distress and anguish,A day of storm and desolation,A day of darkness and gloom,A day of clouds and thick gloom, 16 A day of the horn and of the battle cry,Against the fortified cities and against the high corner towers. 17.I will cause distress to mankind,And they will walk like blind men,Because it is against Jehovah they have sinned. Their blood will be poured out like dust,And their flesh like the dung. 18 Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to save them in the day of Jehovah’s fury;For by the fire of his zeal the whole earth will be consumed,Because he will make an extermination, indeed a terrible one, of all the inhabitants of the earth.

But you see, people don't care. They live their lives anyhow they please. For many of them, after all the abortion, fornication, adultery, killings, idol worship, use of charms and spells on others, lying,stealing and all manner of badness, they want to go to heaven.

They forget what happened to the people of Sodom and Gomorrah. Evil doers are not welcomed in Gods arrangement. Whether it is life in heaven or life on a paradise earth, evil people and hypocrites are not welcomed there. Those are the evils that makes our world corrupt and bad. So, all persons engaging in such evil practices, are preparing themselves for one thing,: destruction at the hands of God on the day of judgement.

Finally, if we do not want to be destroyed, by God, Zephaniah 2:2-3 advice us on what to do. There as three things we must do.

Zeph 2:2-3 states:

Before the decree takes effect,Before the day passes by like chaff,Before the burning anger of Jehovah comes upon you,Before the day of Jehovah’s anger comes upon you, 3 Seek Jehovah, all you meek ones of the earth,Who observe his righteous decrees. Seek righteousness, seek meekness.Probably you will be concealed on the day of Jehovah’s anger.

Here tells us to seek Jehovah,
seek righteousness and
seek meekness

for us to probably be concealed on that day of judgement.

Nobody can hide from God. When that day come, we are either going to be his friends or enemies.

If we fall into the enemy camp, well, our fate will not be different from the people of Sodom and Gomorrah or those destroyed by the flood.

Take note, we can't repent at the last minute. Once judgment starts, o boy, nobody can repent during that time. Because, the matter is already settled. People alive at that time will become like sheep and goat.

So, what does your actions say about you? Are you a friend of God or his enemy?

There is still time to repent now!
Change your ways
Practice holiness and righteousness
Read your Bible and study it to qualify for life

The Bible is the only book you can study to get everlasting life!

Usually, those who are destroyed are the faithless, godless and hypocrites who know what the bible says but fail to live by it. People who refuse to know God or his word, will also be refused by God on that day of judgement, which means destruction.

So how well do you read your Bible to know God?
If you really know God, you will also know that you cannot deceive him.

With God, it is always a case of, you reap, what you sow.

Sow sin, you reap destruction
Sow righteousness, you reap everlasting life!
