Isn't there an agenda to Christianize Africa also? WHy do we have a church on every street? Why do Xtians go for evangelism in remote places and in Islamic dominated places, Can you tell what the motive of such evangelism is

How many churches are in Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen etc? Yet the UK has over 1000 mosques already and Muslims are agitating for sharia law in the UK. What you guys can't give to Christians in Islamic nations, you demand for them in Christian nations.
I don't have a problem with Muslims 'evangelising' in Christian nations as long as they also open the door for their people who want to accept Christianity. Many people in the Middle East want to accept Christ, but they know they will be killed if they do that.

Sir, please take a break to reflect on some of the things you are saying. When you collect yourself together you can return to contributions.

Whats the big deal if Sharia is in practice in France? In Francophone countries there are areas totally bought up and owned by churches, the civil law of the country is modeled after christianity. If France can do that in other countries why can it not be done in its own soil with a different faith?

When missionaries brought christianity here and you could not attend their sxhool unless you first accept Jesus, what should we call that?

Calm down

How many churches are in Saudi Arabia? Yet there are already over 1000 (maybe over 1500 by now) mosques in the UK.

Muslims have freedom in Europe and are even agitating for implementation of sharia in Christian nations, meanwhile in most Islamic nations, you can't even walk along the road with a Bible. There is no building called a church in the whole of Saudi, Afghanistan, Yemen etc.

Most of the francophone West and Central African nations are majorly Muslim nations like Niger, Chad, Central African Republic, Mali, Mauritania, Senegal etc. France didn't force Christianity on them. Moreover, the same francophone nations were not originally Islamic nations. They had Arabian invaders convert them to Islam through jihad several centuries ago.

Missionaries used schools and all that to draw Southern and Middle Belt Nigerians to Christianity, but at least it's better than the Core North where they were forced to Islam through jihad. If not for the speedy move of those missionaries, the whole of Nigeria would have been an Islamic nation.

My argument in all these is that if Muslims want to enforce sharia in Christian nations simply because they enjoy freedom there, they should also open the doors of the Islamic nations to freedom so that Christians can build churches there too, or do you think there aren't Saudi Arabians who are already Christians in secret and many more who want to become Christians?

That was between 2009 and 2011 when Jonathan completed Yar'Adua's tenure. It was the circumstances of Yar'Adua's ill-health and demise that made him become president at that time. During his own tenure from 2011 to 2015, there was never a Christian CJN. Mind you also that the Speaker during the period you quoted was Dimeji Bankole, a Muslim.
CAN was only asking APC to try and consider a Christian legislator for either the SP or Speaker. I don't think it's too much to ask.

If you're a Christian and it doesn't matter to you whether all Nigerian political leaders are Muslims, then I'm sorry to say that you aren't a sensitive Christian. Even SW Muslims won't accept the reverse.
There is a global Islamic agenda to Islamize Africa and Europe. It's unfortunate that some of your can't read the handwriting on the wall.
no 1 am not a sensitive Christian and I don't want to be, no 2 my Bible tells me to treat everyone equal, that's what makes me a true Christian, love everybody no matter their religion or tribe, no 3 that has what made Christianity the largest in the world and the most advanced.
Now back to the topic am actually wrong and you are wrong too... The CJN when Patricia and Mark were speaker and senate president was kutigi... Not kastina Alu, during Yar'Adua regime, but be that as it may two wrongs don't make a right, if Muslims makes such demands lets show them we are above board, let the best man lead no matter his or her religion.

The same question have been asking myself... But any ways, I know one day we will leave above religion n tribal sentiment

Secondly, how did christianity get into Africa? Was it not through evangelism or what you will call christianization.

There are many missionaries in the middle east currently, there are many couples in my church in the middle east that are christianizing the place.

In almost every country of the world even in China you see missionaries

The point in bold is only on paper at the moment. In the next 30 years, there will be far more Muslims in the Western world than there are Christians. Even in Europe today, many people are no longer religious. These are the same people you consider as Christians. Many European nations as you know them today will become Islamic nations in less than half a century.

You can't have a relationship with Christ and not be sensitive to what is happening in the world as regards the progress of the church. Yes, dragging political positions may seem unspiritual especially when you consider that most the so-called Christian politicians don't even know God, but somehow, their presence serves to protect the interest of Christians directly or indirectly. I know what Christians suffer in Southern Kaduna, most parts of the Core North and all other places where Islam reigns supreme like the Middle East, and I can never support a situation where Muslims occupy all top positions especially in a nation where the population of both religions is nearly equal.
Northern Muslims head most security-related parastatals like Nigerian Army, Airforce, Police, DSS, NSCDC, Immigration, Customs, Prisons, EFCC etc, yet killing of Northern Christians and minorities is at an all time high.

Your last point about showing Muslims we are above board is the reason why most European nations will fall into Islam in less than half a century. The same guys from countries where non-Muslims don't even have freedom of walking along the road with a Bible or gathering together in a church are the people agitating for Sharia law in the UK and all over Europe now. When you're diplomatic in dealing with them, then you will ultimately lose your land and your life.

The missionaries in the Middle East have put their lives on the line for the sake of the gospel. Yes, they are 'Christianizing' the region but are they doing it freely and openly? You can't even cross the airport security with a Bible in many Islamic nations. There are no Church buildings in Saudi Arabia. Why can't they bestow the same freedom they enjoy in European Christian nations upon the Christians in their own nations?

My worry about Islamism is the aftermath of it. It's not about the population of Muslims increasing, but the fact that once they get a sizeable number, they impose Sharia law. Before you spell Jack, they've taken away all the freedom you used to enjoy and forcefully impose the backward Islamic teaching and culture on everybody.
You can't be against freedom of religion in your land yet you go to another land that allows freedom and try to impose the rules of your religion that discourages freedom.

You are a hypocrite, you are screaming about islamization but you are okay with christianization.

The same way their religion makes you uncomfortable is the same way your religion makes them uncomfortable but you want them to accept and deal with your own inflicted discomfort while resisting theirs

Maybe if you start campaign to stop all missionary and christianization effort, islamization will also stop

Then you are never a Christian. You're very insincere. You understand nothing about Christianity or about walking with God.

Until Christians in the Middle East have as much freedom to even agitate for the teaching of Christian Religious Knowledge in the Middle East, I will continue to oppose the proposition of Sharia in Europe.
If they can't provide a level playing ground in their own land, then they shouldn't demand for it elsewhere.

I am not against Muslims practising their religion in Europe. Even the building that houses my church is currently owned by Muslims. They bought it over from the original owner. One end of it is my church and the other end is a mosque.
Muslims constitute a large chunk of the skilled workforce of the UK at the moment. I don't have a problem with that. They should do their religion peacefully and stop trying to impose strange rules into the system that started existing before they came into the land. That is the issue I have with Islamization. It is often not about increasing the population of Muslims, but rather enforcing the change of the laws of the land to become inclined to Islam. As soon as that happens, all other non-Muslims are at risk. Freedom dies a natural death.

I dont need to prove my Christianity to you or to anyone

And when Christians come dont they introduce strange rules as well? WHy are you not concerned about people who have lived centuries in the middle east with a certain set of rules yet missionaries are coming to give them a strange rule, Yet you are here lamenting about a strange rule in Christian place

You're not a Christian, Raumdeuter. Stop the pretence.

Christianity never forces anybody to do anything. You can even renounce your faith and nobody will do anything to you. The so called rules are simple instructions for personal living which you're at liberty not to obey. It's always between you and God.
When however people are forced to live by Sharia law whether they like it or not, it becomes a problem. When people who want to renounce their Islamic faith get killed for apostasy in this 21st century, that's a big concern.
I'm all for freedom across all divides.

I am not a Christian because you said so? Is that not another example of such intolerance? When another person is not a christian by your own self appointed standard and this is what you want to enforce on other cultures

Why are you worried about strange rules in Christian dominated places but you dont think people in Islamic dominated places should be worried about strange rules? Is it because you are intolerant of their rules or in your self imposed judge and jury mind, you think yours life is more important than theirs?

Oh well, I was wrong with that. However, Patricia Etteh's tenure as Speaker was so short-lived that people often forget she was ever the Speaker. It was Dimeji Bankole (a Muslim) that was the Speaker for the most of that tenure.

Also, remember that in that 2007, a Muslim was the CJN (Idris Kutigi) and another Muslim was elected the president (Yar'Adua). That was Muslims controlling the executive and judiciary. Having Christians control both arms of the legislature was simply equitable.

Anyone could be CJN at any time irrespective of the religions of the president, senate president and speaker of the house. Office of the CJN is not a political office but based on the rank, years of service, it is age long career based.
Concerning Etteh's tenure, it happened. Simple as ABC

I'm not debating any of the points you made. I was only trying to say that since both the President and CJN were Muslims, it wasn't unfair for both the Senate President and Speaker to be Christians. But yeah, that fact contradicted my earlier statement that throughout when PDP was in power, there was never a time both the Senate President and Speaker were of the same religion.
