Kenyan singer, Victoria Kimani took the viral #FvckYouChallenge to another level after she took a direct swipe at singers Tiwa Savage and Ycee.

She slammed Tiwa Savage, calling the female Afro pop artist a grandma, who was turning 45 but was still pretending to be an African bad girl. 

Victoria Kimani did not hide her seeming dislike for Tiwa behind metaphors. 

Well, Tiwa seemed to have a reply for Victoria today as she showed off her new customized whip.

Victoria has now reacted, saying having material things will never make her envy Tiwa. She wrote;

Using your toto to get wealth is not a crime under the Federal Republic of Nigeria. It is your fundamental human right. It is nothing to be ashamed of. If people are criticising you for using your toto to acquire wealth, give them two options :
1) let them foot your bills and expenses, or
2) stfu and get lost.

The only problem is when you are deceiving others that you are hustling "legitimately" to acquire your wealth. When you do that, you create a false expectation for those that want to take up your profession only for them to be disillusioned and hit hard with reality. Though you have the right to live a fake life but it would be better if you don't mislead those that aspire to be like you.

And the example that she is showing her kid is that if you work hard and dedicate yourself to your craft you can become successful and be known all over the globe - and of course that women do not shrivel and die without a man in their lives, as well as it’s better to be alone than to be in a bad and unhappy marriage or relationship. So the MTV Europe Award, the MTV Africa awards, the Sony/ATV contract, the Roc Nation deal, the sold-out O2 Arena London show, the Global Citizens show, the Pepsi, Glo and Forte Oil brand ambassadorships, the many other endorsements, the sold-out pop-up tour clothing shop, the royalty payments from Ciara’s “Freak Me” record, and so on and so forth, must be all made up and a figment of an over-active imagination.

BTW, there are no guarantees in life - and certainly no guarantees of success, but aspiration and hope is the virtual oxygen for much of human life and activity. Let youngsters aspire to be as successful as they believe (and you apparently disbelieve) that Tiwa is, for no one knows what circumstances will prevail in the future. There were many Nigerian musicians better than Wizkid and Davido but who never achieved anywhere near the increasingly global success these two are currently achieving, because they operated under different circumstances. The aspiration to be a successful professional is a good thing, and frankly one would hope that these aspirations would not be squashed by Naysayers even before they got off the ground. Developing the habits of success (such as hard work, creativity and innovation, self-confidence, etc.) are always good traits to cultivate even if the initial goals/aspirations are not achieved. As the cliched saying goes, “If you aim for the sky...”!
