HATE KILLS
MyVILLAGEpeople:
Buhari is the most clueless, visionless and incompetent leader in history. I can't still fathom how we got stocked with a senile old illiterate with analog brain, in a country that is blessed with lots of technocrats and intellectuals in this 21 century. SHM..

Over 60years ago. China launched the Great Leap forward. This turned out to be the ,"Great Leap Forward into poverty and starvation" using the words of the The Economist. Millions died and the country suffered

This Next Level is mirror of that hubris. Bloomberg said the economy won't grow more than 2.5% yearly. That means in real terms, per capita income will remain the seller as population is growing at the same rate.

Between 1948-1990, the Indian economy average growth rate was 3.5% yearly and that's what made India as poor as it is today. Yet. Nigeria's growth for the next 4 years will be lower than that! Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Ask yourself.

Nigeria has truly embraced poverty!

Buhari will not serve this second term, unless our God is not a God of Justice. The blood of innocent Nigerians killed by and thru Buhari''s proxies is crying for vengeance!

The person of the president and the seat of the presidency and the nation of Nigeria are two different things.

Of course you are very right. No president, no matter how lovable or patriotic is equal to Nigeria as a nation.

However, it hasn't missed our observation that these same wailing crew tend to hate the current president, deride good news about Nigeria and bring the cymbals whenever some bad news about Nigeria hit the front pages.

To chip in another observation, if you check back on a lot of these wailers older posts on NL, LIB, PunchNG, FB etc, you'd quickly realize that they were also the ones screaming "bla bla referendum...bla bla election", they were the ones carving some odious map out of Nigeria, the ones quick to refer to Zoo, the ones praising on the activities of a now proscribed terrorist group.

So yea, my original comment stands as fact in this regard.

1. I will refrain from calling IPOB a terrorist group my dear friend as the ones causing mayhem have not been termed such leaving room for the animosities you'd seen online.

2. You have raised very good points but you should note that criticising a president for his lackadaisical attitude in running a multiethnic nation with a rich history of conflicts is the bedrock of any democracy.

3. No one person has been insulted as much as the previous president despite him not having been president for two terms.

3. It is also noteworthy to understand that praising the president for doing what amounts to his job is not patriotism...but demagoguery.

4. The right to self-rule should not be vilified, if individuals or a group of individuals want a referredum for self governance, there are so many ways in giving them nothing and still pacifying their grievances without resorting to demonization and state sponsored murder and propaganda.
