So I've decided to give this online writing thing a try, maybe it'll help get me out of the habit of never finishing what I start. So anyways constructive criticism is acceptable and oh please, please, pretty please with the guts and gore of your enemies sprinkled on top (sorry I have a horrible sense of humor) don't copy my work, I work hard to write my stuff and come up with ideas so doing that is just so not cool. So without further ado. Let's get this started.

Chapter 1

The day was just breaking, the birds were already chirping, the sun was getting set to rise and make the day wonderful but in a room in a modern day house, Day Morales did not want to get up and it didnt at all help that she'd stayed up the night before, she heard the door to her room open and inwardly groaned.

"Still not up?"

she ignored the voice, why did the universe have to grant her the ability to still hear while she was asleep, sure it was a gift sometimes but it was a curse like 90% of the time.

"i know you can hear me Day"

Day still gave no answer and the voice sighed, then Day realized it was quiet... Too quiet. Suddenly she was forced awake by the sudden drop of a heavy, warm and very sweaty weight on her body,

"Get the fu*k off" Day said her eyes snapping open and arms reaching out to push the person off her.

"Dont wanna" came the whiney reply, Try as she might Day just couldn't shove her off, her eyes finally met a pair of amber eyes and a face that mirrored hers in more ways than one, with long, wavy, pitch black hair tied up in a ponytail and the sun was already streaming through the windows allowing Day to see the sweat gleaming on the other girls tanned olive skin.

"Just fu*k off already Dee, you reek" Day said scrunching up her nose to which Dee chuckled,

"Yeah your morning breath isn't much better either" Day glared at her and raised her leg so she could kick Dee in the shin. Dee yelped and fell off the bed in a heap.

"How very graceful of you" Day taunted making Dee give her the middle finger. Day got up from bed to stretch her stiff body "But seriously Dee do you seriously have to take on the responsibility of being my fu*king alarm Clock, you've been doing this for the past, oh I don't know, 6 or 7 years" Day stood up, rubbing the shoulder she'd fallen on and cocked her hip to the side,

"We both know you're not a morning person Day and we can't have you getting late to school, cause if you're late, I'm late"

"You know you're not obligated to stick with me"

"Don't you dare, we're twins Day and we got to stick together, just like we did when we were in the good ol womb days"

"That's fu*king gross, godfuckingdammit I didn't need that thought in my head" Dee just grinned and came over to sling her arm over Day's shoulder, Day was the taller one with just a few inches but because she always walked with her back bent and eyes glued to the floor, it was even harder to see she was taller.

"Well get used to it cause you're not going to be getting rid of me anytime soon"

"I honestly wish I could" But they both knew that Day didn't mean it, they were halfs of the same soul and they both shuddered at the thought of anyone of them suddenly disappearing and leaving the other alone.

They separated and Day moved to their adjoining bathroom to brush her teeth, as she was brushing, Dee came in tying only a white fluffy towel around her chest moving to stand beside Day in front of their huge mirror. To the untrained eye the Morales twins looked exactly alike, the amber eyes, the olive skin, the same wavy pitch black hair, except Day's hair was cut to her shoulders with sideswept bangs that sometimes covered her eyes, while Dee kept hers long and parted it on the right side but few people ever saw the real differences, like the fact that Dee's eyes were brighter than Day's or that Dee's skin was slightly darker and generally looked better than Day's due to Dee's almost excessive exposure to the sun and when it came to their personalities they were polar opposites, while Dee was extroverted, nice, sporty, an all-round ray of sunshine, and a straight A student, Day was introverted, kept her grades at B and C level, spat enough profanity to make a sailor blush and couldn't run a single lap without feeling like passing out so aside from looks the Morales twins were anything but alike.

Day showered after Dee and came out to see her twin dressed in a light pink cropped tank top with sunshine written on it in gray sparkly italics, black jeans and gray sparkly sneakers pulling her hair into a ponytail with a gray sparkly scrunchie, the sheer amount or glitter on the girl was making Day cringe.

"Stop looking at me like you're gonna throw up" Dee said with a laugh, Day just scoffed and came to stand at her side of the closet they shared,

"I can if youre about to go out looking like a fu*king discoball"

"Hey I like my glitter, it makes me feel cute" Dee pouted and Day had to admit she did look cute but she would die before she said it outloud instead she just rolled her eyes as she put on her underwear,

"You wish, but to each their motherfucking own, I won't judge your disco ball aesthetic" Dee gave her a droll stare,

"You're silently judging me aren't you?"

"Absofuckinglutely"

Day dressed in a dark purple T-shirt that's was at least three sizes bigger with Simply Can't Give A Fu*k written on it in black block letters, black jeans and equally black leather ankle boots with silver buckles on them.

"Ready?" Dee called, Day simply ran her fingers through her hair to smooth down any stray hairs,

"Yeah" then she picked up her backpack and left the room with Dee. They walked down the stairs to the kitchen where their mom was already laying out breakfast for them, which happened to be toast with eggs and orange juice.

"Morning mom" Called Dee

"Yeah. What she said" Said Day. Their mom turned to face them, Rebecca Morales was a small petite Estonian woman, at 5ft5, she was small compared to Dee's 5ft8, Day's 5ft10 or her husband's 6ft1, with long wavy black hair that fell down her back which was currently pulled into a half-assed ponytail with sapphire blue eyes, she wore a fluffy red, knee-length robe and red bunny slippers to match,

"Morning girls" she said with a wide smile "Another moody morning Day?"

"You know her mom, she hates mornings from the bottom of her cold, dark, heart" Day glared at Dee while Rebecca laughed, coming over to pinch both of Days cheeks,

"You should smile more honey" said Rebecca "you'd look less intimidating"

"Just lay off it Ma" Day said averting her eyes,

"Fine. Fine." said Rebecca, patting Day's cheeks once before pulling away "Now eat up, or you'll miss the bus"

They ate their breakfast with Dee and Rebecca talking about random stuff while Day just watched in amusement.

"OK. Now shoo shoo" Said Rebecca as they dropped their plates at the sink, Dee giggled and kissed her on one cheek while Day kissed her on the other.

"Bye mom"

"Bye Ma"

"Bye girls, have a great day, now if you'll excuse me I have to go wake your father up"

"Don't forget to feed Hunter" reminded Day. Hunter was Day's pet husky

"And Diamond" Added Dee, Diamond was Dee's pet ragamuffin.

"I will."

They waved her goodbye and they went out the front door, closing it behind them, and walked to the bus stop.

"Mom was right though" started Dee "You should really smile more, maybe you'll have more friends at school if you just became a tad more sociable"

"We're talking about the same school right?" Deadpanned Day "Cause last I checked the only reason I'm tolerated is cause I'm the golden girl's twin sister"

"That's not true"

"We both know that's true" there was an awkward silence after that.

"I'm not asking you to change" spoke Dee "I'm just tired of people not seeing the good in the you, of walking all over you, just cause you're not all that showy, you're an amazing person Day, I just want others to realize that" Day couldn't help the smile that creeped onto her face, what had she done to deserve such an amazing person as a sister, so she punched her in the arm

"Ouch"

"Dont beat yourself all up over sh*t" Day smiled at her "I'll be fine" and that triggered Dee who was all up in her face moments later

"Oh my God, you look so pretty when you smile" Dee gushed

"Ugh. No." and she sighed "Why do I even fu*king bother with you?"

"Cause you Wuv me?" Crooned Dee which made Day chuckle

"Dammit I do" Day said as the bus finally came to a stop in front of them, they got in and the bus drove away.

Chapter two

The bus lumbered to a stop in front of their highschool and the kids alighted. If Day was moody before, now there was a full storm cloud above her, as she glared at the building in distaste.

"Geez, you look like you just wanna get In there and murder everyone" said Dee

"Would it be wrong if I did" and Dee laughed at her sisters morbid sense of humour,

"Yes. Besides I prefer you here with me and not In some dingy cell" Day just shrugged as they went through the doors. They walked to their lockers which were side by side, it wasn't originally like that but Dee didn't like the idea of being so far away from her beloved twin so she had switch lockers with the kid who had owned it at the time.

"We have English together, second period" reminded Dee pulling out her books for her Economics class

"I know, I know, I'll meet you here after Astronomy class" Day replied pulling out books for said class as Dee scrunched up her face

"Still don't know how you can actually learn that."

"And you fu*king offer Economics, what's your point? Besides don't scrunch up your face like that, you end up looking too much like me, it's fu*king uncomfortable"

"But we're twins" Dee said as she closed her locker "I always look like you"

That's the damn problem.

The thought crossed Day's mind before she could stop it, she would never tell her but the truth was Dee intimidated Day, she was everything Day would never be and Day actually hated her for it. The thought ruined her already shitty mood and she turned and walked away leaving Dee to wonder what was wrong with her.

After her class, Day walked back to their lockers, regretting her little unspoken outburst that morning, she knew Dee would be worried about her but if she had stayed a little longer, she wouldve ended up snapping at her poor, unsuspecting twin and that was something she didn't want to do. She got her locker first and started bringing out her English books while waiting for Dee, when she saw HER in the distance,

Just fu*k my life.

Chloe Fitzgerald, the self proclaimed popular girl and bully that every generic highschool needs, she strutted down the hallway in a black sleeveless cotton turtleneck tucked in a leather miniskirt and black knee-high high-heeled boots, dyed blond hair up in a high ponytail, brown eyes scanning the hall, with a lackey on her side, it was a girl Day had never seen before with curly red hair and pretty blue eyes that held a black handbag and books that obviously weren't hers, Day turned back to face her locker, she did not want her drama today but unfortunately her luck was never good.

"Well well well" came the annoying voice with a slight southern belle accent, Day didn't think she deserved such a pretty accent but apparently the universe was not fair "If it isn't the other Morales twin" Day didn't acknowledge her, maybe if she ignored her, and hopefully she would go away but Chloe just stood there, seething, she absolutely hated being ignored, a nasty smirk spread across her face and she reached out and shoved Day's head with enough force that it snapped forward and her forehead slammed into the locker with a loud bang, Day reached up and cupped her throbbing forehead, gritting her teeth against the pain,

"I'm sorry" Chloe said in a sickenly sweet tone "Did that hurt?"

"Chloe!" Day and Chloe both turned their heads to see Dee walking to them, looking absolutely furious.

"Oh hello Morales" Chloe said folding her arms with a nasty smile on her faces that exposed her dimples "Was wondering when you'd show up"

"Shut it Chloe and fu*k off"

"Calm your tits, Morales, we were just having a friendly chat, weren't we other Morales?" she smiled at Day who had turned to face Dee at this point and patted her arm, Day cringed and took a step away from Chloe,

"Touch her one more time and I'll cut your hand off and shove it down your throat"

"Tsk, Tsk, Tsk." tutted Chloe "How vulgar, what makes you think you can do that?" Dee walked up to Chloe so she could look her eye to eye,

"I've kicked your ass before, and I'm not afraid to do it again" Chloe's smile dissappeared as she raked Dee with a vicious glare remembering the fight that had got them both suspended and had earned her a trip to the hospital.

"Whatever. I have better things to do" She said with a huff "Bye Dee and Dee's lookalike. Come Madison" obviously referring to the redhead as she turned and sashayed away.

"Are you okay?" asked Dee when Chloe was a respectful distance away "Does it hurt?" she touched Day's forehead gingerly, making Day wince,

"It's fine" Day said pushing Dee's hands away and using her bangs to cover the spot that she knew was definitely gonna bruise,

"It's definitely not fine, why don't we go to the nurse's office" Dee took Day's hand so she could take her there.

"No" Day snapped as she pulled her hand away,

"But....."

"I said NO" They were both shocked at the malice imbued in that word.

"But I just wanted to help" Dee said, looking like she was going to burst out in tears any second.

"I'm sorry Dee, I didn't mean to snap at you like that, I'm just in a really shitty mood"

"It's okay" Dee said managing a small smile "I shouldn't have pushed you, Its my fault, I'm the one who should be sorry"

No. You fu*king liar. It's not. You just take the blame cause you don't want to tell me how pathetic I really am.

The thought made Day grit her teeth in anger both at Dee and at the the headache that was starting to blossom in her head.

"Dont get your titties in a twist over it" said Day "Let's go, we don't wanna be late, Mrs Jones can be a bitch over tardiness"

"Yeah. Yeah sure. Let's go". As they walked down the halls to English class, Day couldn't help stealing glances at Dee, she felt bad about the way she acted but she couldn't help the thoughts that formed an unbreakable loop in her head.

It's her fault. It's always her fault.

Lunch Time

Dee and Day walked towards the cafeteria, the earlier tension forgotten as they had spent a few periods apart. As they walked through the doors Day tried to subtly separate from Dee, but the other twin was having none of it and grabbed Day's arm,

"Nope" she said "You're sitting with me" Day sighed

"But your friends hate me" and Dee scoffed

"My friends do not hate you."

"Yes they do, they glare at me behind you" and Dee laughed

"You're just exaggerating."

"I am not"

When Day finally relented, they got their food and moved to Dee's regular table, Dee was popular, everyone knew that, but unlike Chloe who fed off hers while making everyone miserable, Dee was nice and almost everyone loved her. Day saw the table and slammed a mask of indifference down on her face as they approached the hub of chatter and laughter.

"Heyo" announced Dee as she sat down with Day sitting beside her,

"Heyyy!" That was Liliana Wolf , she had thick, shoulder length, curly blonde hair, stormy gray eyes, light chocolate skin and an ever bright smile.

"Hiya" Nelly Lynch, with straight, long, black hair and straight cut bangs, forest green eyes, fair skin and a nose piercing.

"Hi" said May, Brent and Ryan  simultaneously and they turned to glare at each other, they were the Ross triplets, May had wavy, long, auburn hair and bright amber eyes, Brent had thickly curled, shoulder length, black hair and sapphire blue eyes and Ryan had short auburn hair and mismatched eyes, amber on the left and blue on the right.

"Yo" Malachi Ivanov, with long black hair tied back in a half assed ponytail, with bangs that framed his face and icy blue eyes.

The last of the group Wolfie Leroy just waved, she had shaved hair in the style of a brush cut and dyed purple, piercings that lined the shell of both her ear along with one on her lip and left eyebrow, and her eyes, her right eye was a murky, cloudy, white and there was a deep, jagged, scar over said eye that began slightly above her hairline and ended on her cheek, the other eye was a gray that was so light it looked silver.

"so what's up?" asked Dee getting comfortable,

"Nothing really" replied May "Just listening to Lilly rant about her dream trip to Greece" Dee turned to Liliana to see her holding her juice and whispering before spilling the juice on the floor.

"One of these days the janitors are gonna get you for that sh*t" commented Nelly,

"Why?" asked Liliana "I'm just paying my respects, its not my fault it's against their job description" and everyone laughed except Day who didn't feel like she belonged there so instead she focused on Liliana who had gone back to talking about how close she was to getting her parents to let her go to Greece and her charm bracelet that tinkled as she moved her hands in expressive gestures, Lilliana was a Hellenic Polytheist, and the charms on her bracelet represented various gods and goddesses, Day remembered a lunch time when Liliana had fully explained her charms to the unwilling audience and she remembered as she drowned out their conversations matching each charm to their deity, the Rose for Aphrodite, the Lyre for Apollo, the Sword for Ares, the Bow and Arrow for Artemis, the Olive Tree for Athena, Wheat for Demeter, the Grape Vine for Dionysus, the three-headed dog Cerberus for Hades, the Hammer for Hephaestus, the Peacock Feather for Hera, the Traveller's Cap for Hermes, the Hearth for Hestia, the Trident for Poseidon, and the Thunderbolt for Zeus,

"Day!" a deep voice snapped her out of her reverie, it was Malachi, he was one of the people who always tried to involve Day in their conversations "Lily was asking what you thought about her dream trip?" Day felt her face flush with embarrassment and she locked eyes with the table,

"Ummm, uh" she paused to clear her throat a little "it sounds like a great idea" Day hated how much her voice thinned out when she was around them, she always sounded so fu*king pathetic.

"See" said Liliana sounding smug "Day thinks it's cool"

"Yeah" Nelly countered "But Day's opinion doesn't matter"

"Hey" countered Malachi "Her opinions do matter"

"Yeah" supported Dee, Day looked at Malachi and he smiled at her which made her avert her eyes, she knew Malachi probably had a crush on Dee, he was the one Dee hung out most with and whenever Day brought him up Dee always changed the subject, it explained why he was always coming to her defense in front of others.

"Damn guys" huffed Nelly with a smile "You know I was just kidding" Day zoned out their conversation again as she picked around her tray with her fork, eating her lunch in small bites, and looking across the cafeteria to one of the various little outcast areas, where she'd probably be sitting if not for Dee, when her eye caught someone else's, he had shoulder length ash blonde hair and onyx eyes and he was sitting alone and just as soon as their eyes met, he looked away and so did she, Day spent the time repeatedly zoning out and efforts made to involve her in conversation failed, she didn't want to be there, she didn't want to be the storm cloud to her sister's sunshine.

"Would you look at that?" Brent's voice forced her out of her most recent daydream "Lunch is almost over" Day looked down at her tray, she didn't even eat up to half of her lunch she just couldn't work up the appetite to do so.

"Day" called Nelly "We have Psychology together after this don't we?" Day stiffly nodded, how could she have forgotten "that means we're leaving together." she said with finality and Day could only nod again.

When lunch was officially over, she and Nelly separated from the others and walked the halls in silence, they could already see the door to the Psychology class when Nelly said loud enough for Day to hear but low enough for everyone else not to,

"I meant what i said earlier, your opinion doesn't matter, Dee might think so but I don't" Day just remained silent "We only tolerate you cause you're Dee's precious twin sister but honestly if Dee weren't here, I dont think youre worth anyone's time and honestly Day get a life, and stop ruining your sister's just by existing" Day didn't say anything as they walked through the door and Nelly went to seat in the opposite side of the class from where Day sat,  that was when Day finally cracked, and bowed her head in the crook of an elbow to cry.

You don't have to tell me, I already know, godfuckingdammit, I know.

Chapter 4
After School

Dee and Day met after school in front of the school building, when Dee asked Day how the rest of her day was, all Day had were flashbacks of getting tripped in class and in the hallways, spitballs in her hair and being shoved so she just ignored the entire questioning thing and walked forward, Dee rushed up to her beaming, talking about how much fun she had, all the nice people she met and the people she had helped out, and in that moment Day was hit with a hatred so intense it scared her, why was she the one with the horribly flawed life, why did Dee have to be so unbearably perfect, she instead gritted her teeth against the urge to lash out at her twin who was only trying her best to cheer her up, the bus ride home was filled with Dee chattering away and Day listening and occasionally zoning out, she was weighing the pros and cons of going straight to bed immediately she got home when she felt a tap on her shoulder, her neck snapped to the side to face Dee who had gotten up from her seat,

"We're here"

"Sorry for zoning out on you" Day said

"Nah. It's been a long day and I know you're stressed"

You know nothing about how I feel.

Day stood up and they both alighted from the bus. They walked home and as soon as they walked through the small gate, they heard loud barking and before Day knew it she was attacked by a furry copper red beast.

"Hunter no" laughed Day from where she'd fallen in the grass while Hunter ignored her, furiously licking her face,  then she sat up and rubbed his smooth red and white fur "I missed you too buddy" she finally managed to get off the grass while Dee petted Hunter,

"I still don't think he likes me" said Dee with a smile as she smoothed down the fur on his head,

"Are you a fu*king idiot?" asked Day with a small smile on her face "if he didn't like you I can bet my kidney he'd bite your damn hand off"

"But he doesn't treat me like youuuuuu" Dee whined,

"That's cause I'm his mommy" said Dee proudly, wiping grass off her jeans while Day pouted "Besides Hunter's not a problem, the problem here is that lameass excuse of a thing you keep upstairs" she patted her knees and hunter abandoned Dee to run back to her,

"Don't insult my fluffy baby" huffed Day,

"It's a fu*king demon" retorted Dee

"Diamond is my angelic baby"

"Till the Lord discovered she was a bitch and threw her from heaven, now she's a cat who gets off from tormenting my life"

"She's a good girl, you just don't understand her"

"How the fu*k? She's a damn cat"

There was a moment of silence before they both burst into laughter, their earlier tension forgotten and Day remembered why she couldn't function without Dee, even though they argued, even though Day was rude most times and had the horrible thoughts she couldn't control, even tho Dee was oblivious to Day's inner conflict, they still managed to make it work.

"You're awesome" said Day with a wide smile and Dee paused to admire how pretty she looked, no quivers in her voice and the heartbreaking sadness that was almost always present in her eyes wasn't there, she looked.....  Happy.

"Did Dee Morales just compliment me.  Le gasp"

"What the hell are you talking about? And did you just say le gasp"

"indeed I did"

"that's so fucking cringey"

"Meanie"

Day laughed and slung her arm around Dee's shoulder rustling her hair as they walked towards the front door leaving Hunter in the front yard,

"Sorry not sorry glitterfuck" and Dee pouted "aww is my little disco ball upset?" Day cooed,

"I'm not a kid" huffed Dee

"You sure act like one and besides I'm older than you"

"By eight minutes"

"Exactly" Dee just sighed and rolled her eyes and Day knocked on the front door, they didn't have to wait long, before the door clicked open to reveal their mom dressed in comfortable sweatpants and a T-shirt that obviously belonged to their dad, the woman was a housewife through and through, then a sweet scent assaulted their noses,

"Is that lunch I smell?" chirped Dee,

"Really girls, no Hi mom? Or how was your day ma?" Rebekah asked in a teasing tone,

"Sorry mom, Hiiii" said Dee

"I'm sorry woman but how else would your day be if not normal? I didn't think you went anywhere" Day teased,  Rebekah narrowed her eyes and reached out to pinch one of Day's cheeks, hard, and dragged her into the house making Day bend slightly due to her height, with Dee giggling wildly behind them as she shut the door and followed,

"ouch, ouch, ouch," cried Day

"I can see you're still as blunt as always, you little brat" said Rebekah with a menacing smile as she let her go in the living room, Dee rubbed her burning cheek once the little woman had let go "This is why you don't have any friends" Dee knew she was joking but it hurt still, but she brushed it off for now and stuck her tongue out at her mom,

"I don't need friends, they dissappoint me" said Day in a droll voice,  making Rebekah laugh, reaching up to pinch Day's cheek again, but she dodged the action "Nope. Your fingertips scare me"

"Pinch mine, pinch mine" said Dee like a kid, coming forward, Rebekah giggled and pinched both her cheeks lightly as they both giggled.

"Ugh. The horrid girlish giggles. Spare my ears the torture"

"Quiet you." snapped Rebekah playfully.

"Quiet you." mocked Day, making Rebekah lightly smack her arm.

"Anyways go freshen up and change and come have lunch."

"Kayyyyy" sang Dee as they left their mother to climb up the stairs to their room,  and as they stepped in, Day came face to face with the devil herself, sprawled out on Dee's bed like she owned the damn thing was Diamond, mismatched blue and green eyes staring right back at Day as if they were daring her to question her authority,

"Babyyyyyyy" Dee screeched, rushing into the room to scoop the white, fluffy cat into her arms, the cat purring as Dee petted her, then she looked right at Day and hissed,

"See! Point proven, that thing hates me" Day said exasperatingly,

"Nah. You're just exaggerating" Day just rolled her eyes and left Dee to her demon child, she instead went to her side of the room and dropped her backpack beside her bed, then walked to their shared closet and switched her jeans for dark gray sweatpants and her boots for sneakers since she planned to take Hunter for a walk after lunch, she heard the showed turn on, signifying Dee was in the bathroom, she went out and right there was Diamond sitting right in the doorway,

"Nice kitty" said Day trying to go around her without much trouble but instead she hissed and swiped her claws at her leg, thank God for thick sweatpants, Day hopped over her and turned sticking her tongue out "Stupid cat" Diamond hissed and Day hissed in return before running down the stairs.
