Offering Price Of ₦360,000,000 In Exchange For Ownership Stake In Nairaland by FTF2069(m): 4:58pm On Apr 16, 2019
This Post is directed towards Nairaland management team and advisory board. I'm offering ₦360,000,000 in exchange for a 85% ownership stake of Nairaland.com of which i'm also willing to discuss in a open negotiation with the board members.

I appreciate Mr Seun's contribution on this great platform , Albeit i believe with myself and my team together on board, we as a team can journey with the users and together build the Nairaland our nation truly deserves and ultimately what the future deserves.

Thank you.

@mrAMG2 and Fathertony, I appreciate your comments.

I'm very serious with my offer, I've always voiced my opinion about this platform. From my end, Even though I lead the charge: I'm not the sole funder, it's aggregated with colleagues and believers who are interested as well.. Took a while and a lot to be finally able to make the call. But I'm looking forward to getting perhaps an invitation to speak with Nairaland's management. .. Until then.

I'll do well to contact you personally if the deal goes forward.

I thought I saw 360k, until I read it again.
Poster,y don't u use that money to build a forum far better than Nairaland? NL to Me,isnt worth even $100k. It's crap. Be creative.
Sensational frontpage nonsense. Dead programming session. If you start yours from the ground up ,fixing d flaws in Nairaland, in 10 years, it would've gained traction and been on its way. Build your own brand. My $0.05

Don’t you think the poster has considered all these? Nairaland has a name and reputation of over 10years. Just like you said, it may take him another 10 years to even come close to the level nairaland will be in 10 years time. That’s if he’s consistent. He has money and probably has a good plan but I don’t think nairaland will give him that 85% stake he’s asking. He must be dreaming or this post might just be prank

Na so.

I’m pretty sure the guy is not worth $100,000. He’s a bad businessman.

The only stream of income the site has are some crappy N2000 1by1 add banner that is hung on top of the home page, most times, they’re empty sef.

So tell me, where and how is your seun worth more than $20m ?

Correct guy! This forum shouldn't be where it is today. It should be as big as reddit. Yes, u don't believe? Spam and ads in so many comments. So many low value comments like "okay", empty posts... Scammers. People should be able to create new boards. With chat messaging so easy to setup with platforms like firebase, I wonder why it hasn't been implemented here.

I wonder why such a product is being given the Nigerian treatment. Nairaland with its position should have no trouble raising vc funds.

Seun, please stop holding this platform back.

In the world of business there's always room for competition. People just like ready made success without sweating. Google had been around for decades, why build another search engine? Well, duckduckgo came along. That's what I'm talking about. Ten years is very short in the business world. It will fly by so fast. Maybe the post is a prank as you say.
