Don’t you think the poster has considered all these? Nairaland has a name and reputation of over 10years. Just like you said, it may take him another 10 years to even come close to the level nairaland will be in 10 years time. That’s if he’s consistent. Correct guy! This forum shouldn't be where it is today. It should be as big as reddit. Yes, u don't believe? Spam and ads in so many comments. So many low value comments like "okay", empty posts... Scammers. People should be able to create new boards. With chat messaging so easy to setup with platforms like firebase, I wonder why it hasn't been implemented here.

I wonder why such a product is being given the Nigerian treatment. Nairaland with its position should have no trouble raising vc funds.

In the world of business there's always room for competition. People just like ready made success without sweating. Google had been around for decades, why build another search engine? Well, duckduckgo came along. That's what I'm talking about. Ten years is very short in the business world. It will fly by so fast. Maybe the post is a prank as you say.
