Bag of Rice (short grain) is 14,000 naira o. That's expensive. Paint of garri is 400 naira. Still expensive... Groundnut oil, palm oil are still going for 400 naira per bottle...

These NBS just talk ttrah... Bureau that cannot give statistics of unemployed graduates, unemployed non graduates, unemployed young persons, unemployed old people, number of new jobs created, number of job losses, number of adults above 18 years, etc etc..
you are smart, this one is easier for them. Just go and buy onion or tomato go back in a month in same place buy again...so simple.

Tomatoes √√
Yes I testify

Decrease in the price of tomatoes shouldn't be an achievement. Its a seasonal thing driven by market forces.

I don't know why some people argue for the sake of argument.

The name of the body dropping the report clearly says "statistics" so what concerns a Statician with "time of the season" or politics ; this is a report they are paid to bring out periodically come rain or shine. Stop being ignorant and politicising everything.
Don't mind him,the stats is really paining the guy seriously

i am responsible for what I say and not what you understand... Why not let's wait till August and give a statistics that rain falls at this time of the year as if it isn't suppose to fall? This is similar.. Tomatoes and yams are affordable now because it's harvesting season.. Give us statistics of stuffs that are not periodic..thats what I meant and your blind self can't see through that because an average fool can't differentiate between something that is periodic or not.. Shift let me see space stupid..even your brain is scared of helping you out because it's tired of trying to explain things to you

which yeye stats? Yam and tomatoes and Irish potatoes amongst others are seasonal.. When it's time to sell, everyone has the products hence the reduction in price because everyone is trying to sell his goods.. It's as simple as that.. Say stats de pain me.. Am in the north, jos in particular and we have food in abundance..vegetables, potatoes,tomatoes..list dem.. We don't feel it.. All of u guys up south can continue using statistics to determine when things will be affordable or not..

We have seasonal and non seasonal food items, but it does not mean the statistics was wrong. Statistics are done on a routine basis which factors all seasons together. Those arguing about it are wasting their valuable time.

Don't mind the guy, he is just a know-it-all confirmed fool, arguing for the sake of arguing.

Again I ask did the NBS say the price drops were not seasonal? Did they comment that the abundance of fertilizer has increased harvest? Did they comment on North and South dichotomy or that women are better farmers than men?

Why is it difficult for this olodo know-it-all to understand that their only job in this particular periodic report was to measure and compare prices? He reminds me of people who think it's smart to go churches/mosques to win contracts rather than seek the salvation of their souls. Or do you regularly ask your mechanic how to fix your freezer? Total confusionist, next thing he'll demand Staticians do a report on how we can defeat Boko.
