It was tough, my father who is an ex- Biafran Soldier told me all. Sometimes, you just have to fight for your freedom and hope for the best. There can never be shame in fighting for freedom 1 Like |

The man that actually saw tomorrow. There was a bargaining between the British and the Northern leaders to continue colonizing the Southern Nigeria hence the Nigerian Government received massive British support during the civil war in exchange for crude oil. 1 Like |

My father fought in the war. My grandfather died in the war as s bridgadier of Biafran army. My father told us point blank that the war was to annahilate Easterners. They had to fight. Had they not fought, they would have killed 10-20 million. Many Easterners still don't understand this country. Let me tell you something...every Yoruba man and Hausa-Fulani know you are a special breed of black people. They know you are different from them which is why they like to attach to you in One Nigeria. Even if Biafra say Yoruba and Hausa-Fulani take all the oil but let us go, they won't. This is being oil! 1 Like |
