It was a drama as a driver of peace mass transit, in AFIKPO heading to Enugu refused a Lady shown in the first pic to seat at the front Seat after the bus was fully checked on the ground that it's the company and the road safety policy.

The women in the park demonstrated their anger for such policy against women as the very woman put a call to the husband who I suspect to be a force Man drove in and took over the scene threatening to Sue the company, but as the driver insisted that he would not drive with a lady seating at front seat, another driver offered to move the passengers to another bus for peace to reign. I have experience such for some time now and would want to know if the so called policy exist.

Oga calm down. I guess you travel a lot. Many drivers don't like it because, women panic a lot when they see the road better, if an elderly man sits there, he will engage the driver in a conversation to help not sleeping while driving

i once asked a driver the same question. he insisted on the two front sit taken up by guys and not any woman at all.. i was baffled... he said there was an incident that took place on his route going towards lokoja where a driver he was familiar with at top speed was trying to overtake the vehicle in front of him with an incoming trailer who was also speed coming from the opposite lane. according to him, the driver was waiting for the right moment to shunt back into his lane when from nowhere the woman beside him lunged for the steering wheel trying to swerve it away from the trailer. People died. he said it was not an isolated incident and that women have been giving them issues even when you put a man in the middle and a woman by the door. we immediately got rid of the woman who wanted to sit in front that day....
